Soccer Insider reports that US U-20 starlet Dilly Duka has signed with MLS. Duka was exploring
options in Europe, but has opted to enter the MLS draft this winter. A product of the Red Bulls
academy, he has made it known that he hopes to end up in New Jersey. Seems likely, as Red Bull New
York Red Bulls have the second overall pick.

Even if the 2010 World Cup is a ringing success artistically - and Sepp Blatter has made a
brilliant career for himself by being smart enough to step back and let eh football speak for
itself - the fact that South Africa, a desperately poor country with enormous unemployment, crime,
housing and communicable disease problems, is literally bankrupting itself so that FIFA can pocket
billions.

This is a bit late, but necessary. Brazil lost the final of the U20, but the result was just a
detail (besides the fact that young Brazilian squads always lose to African nations). The real
question is: what can we expect of those players in the future?
Possibly, 1 or 2 will be adult World Cup material (in my opinion, one of them will be
Giuliano).

Just a day after the Hexagonal concluded, René Simões released his list of players for the
playoff against Uruguay next month. He didn't have any players from the Costa Rican U20 squad, but
maybe he'll add to this list at a later time.

Yesterday's U20 final, Brazil vs. Ghana. So much potential for excitement. Ghana's Black
Satellites (the baby version of the Black Stars) came into the final having scored 16 goals in the
tournament. Brazil stood at 14. Surely a goal-fest was in order.
But no.
The game-changing moment happens at about the 1:10 mark in the video, when Ghana's
Daniel Addo is sent off in the 37th.

Extra Footie is reporting that Fulham are interested in buying Brek Shea from FC Dallas for ÂŁ2
million. Good for him. I know he's a top prospect for the USA and Dallas, but I was pretty
unimpressed with his performance at the u-20 world cup.

Just a couple of things on my mind today, so... U-20's Bounce Back The USA U20's recovered from

course, the final score was terribly flattering to...

Despite having a strong U-21 side, Italy's other youth national teams don't really have a
glorious history. All of Italy's youth focus is directed to the U-21 team, and you never hear
anything about the other sides. In addition, besides the U-21 team Italy's youth sides have never
really won anything, despite participating at many tournaments.

Arsenal starlet Fran Merida has revealed that he rejected a loan move to Spanish side
Levante this summer because he is keen to prove his worth with the Gunners.
The 19-year-old, who arrived from Barcelona's acclaimed youth ranks in 2005, has been capped by
Spain at U17, U19, U20 and U21 level, but has so far made just four Premier League outings for
Arsene Wenger's outfit.

On a rainy Thursday evening, both USF and UT men's teams were able to win at home as the collegiate

USF handled Stetson 3-0 in the Bulls' last exhibition match, in front of 430 supporters, before

Last season the USF women struggled with producing goals, but were able to open their exhibition
schedule with a 2-0 win over Jacksonville University. All the scoring occurred in the second half,
starting with a goal in the 52nd minute from the Bulls' Canadian connection. Freshman Taylor
Patterson assisted on fellow Canadian U20 international Gina Pacheco's [pictured right as a member

Contrary to reports circulating in the British press, Douglas Costa's agent, Cesar Bottega, does
