Liverpool: The rollercoaster-ness of the season to date has been unbearable if you are a Liverpool
fan, and that continued a week ago as the Reds battled to a disappointing 0-0 home draw with
Stoke.
Bolton Wanderers are hoping to swoop on Liverpool duo Raheem Sterling and Jon Flanagan on-loan in
the January transfer window.
Manager Owen Coyle is desperate for new recruits to salvage his team's season after two wins all
season has left his side second bottom.
Winger Sterling, 17, is one of the most highly-rated teenagers in England and Coyle insists he can
help the teenager's development in the same way he has done for Jack Wilshere and Daniel Sturridge.

After playing two tightly-contested matches last season Liverpool scored the winners in the 86th
and 92nd minutes respectively Bolton visits Anfield in hopes of continuing what's been an
encouraging start to the season. Liverpool's had all the success in this matchup over the past few
years, winning the last nine, but with two deserved wins and a hard-fought loss to City last
weekend, tomorrow's visitors will arrive expecting to get a result.
With the division in general overviewed by Ian yesterday, it's time for the final of the
three official twohundredpercent Football League pre-season previews. For those that haven't seen
the other previews, we've gone about them slightly differently this season. With the transfer
window affecting some managers psychologically to the point that they build their team by the end
of the transfer window, rather than the start of the season, predicting how it all ends up before
teams have finalised their squads is tricky.

Boots to fill
Spanish side Levante are due to come to the Reebok tomorrow for our final match of preseason.
Levante compete in La Liga, and finished 14th last year, to mirror Bolton. Owen Coyle will focus on
making this a good run out, both to jusitfy his busy preseason (after that injury), and as
it's his last chance before QPR.
Bolton defender Tyrone Mears has been dealt a cruel injury blow ahead of the new season after
breaking his leg in training on Thursday morning.

Now, a bit of good and bad news as far as Bolton fans are concerned.
First the good. Stuart Holden has just tweeted this photo of him filming the new line-up and
headshot thingamajigs for Sky Sports next season and, as you can see, both of his legs appear to be
working nicely in fact, the Yank midfielder even tentatively returned to light training on Monday
(his 26th birthday, no less) after shattering his knee in a challenge with Jonny Evans over five
months ago.

Bolton's third or fourth signing this offseason (depending on which member of Meagles put pen to
paper first) is Tyrone Mears. It's now officially official that Chris Eagles and Tyrone Mears have
signed for Bolton Wanderers in a deal worth around £2.75 million for the pair.
It's now officially official that Chris Eagles and Tyrone Mears have signed for Bolton Wanderers
in a deal worth around £2.75 million for the pair. It's common knowledge that the pair both played
under Owen Coyle in his time at Burnley but each of their histories are much more extensive.
With that, we give you the opportunity to learn a little more about Chris Eagles.
Bolton have completed the signings of Chris Eagles and Tyrone Mears from Burnley.
Coyle looks pleased with himself
Sorry this is so late, I'm in the process of moving to France right now and have had to go to a
McDonald's to get any internet. Anyway we've been waiting all summer for signings and suddenly it
appears we've had 3. We've snapped up Nigel Reo-Coker from Aston Villa on a free, which is quite a
good bit of business.

Bolton to Make David Ngog Bid
David Ngog could be in line for a shock move to Bolton after reports emerged that Owen Coyle is
planning to make a £4m bid for the Frenchman. It is believed that Coyle, who recently agreed a
£3m fee with Burnely for Chris Eagles and Tyrone Mears, will continue with his spending by making
an official bid for the 22-year-old.
Bolton are poised to sign Tyrone Mears and Chris Eagles after Burnley accepted a bid, believed
to be in the region of £3 million, for the duo.

Thomas Hitzlsperger marked his long-awaited debut and opened the scoring for West Ham
against Burnley in the FA Cup Fifth round last night, firing home from the edge of the area with a
trademark Hitzlsperger™ of a strike...
My, how West Ham could have done with a few more of those this season.
