And we are back...
Since the last post, I have found a new job and gotten twins so there has been a lot to do. In
between changing diapers and walking a baby-carriage, I have found a moment to update the dear
readers of this blog.
Lets start with the national team. Since beating the Netherlands to make it to the Euro 2012
endgame, we have been absolutely piss awful.
After Blackburn got their very own Olsson twins yesterday, we look at the best of twin team-mates
to grace English football. 1. Rafael and Fabio Da Silva Arguably English football's top-achieving
twins to date, in tag team terms. Unlike some sets of footballing twins, the talent seems to be
fairly equal between the pair.
Manchester United are not the only Premier League team with the DaSilva twins on their books after
Chelsea signed a trio of brothers from Luton Town. The Blues have now got their own DaSilva after
they snapped up 12-year-old twins Rio and Cole Dasilva, as well as their 13-year-old brother Jay.

Injured Manchester United players Ashley Young and Darren Fletcher made it a family day out to
Old Trafford on Saturday.
Ashley brought his adorable 5-year-old son Tyler to United's match against Bolton, although
Tyler probably just played Transformers or dinosaurs in the on-site creche while daddy hobnobbed
with the big fellas.
Sir Alex Ferguson has sung the praises of Manchester United's Brazilian twins, Rafael and Fabio
Da Silva, and hopes that the injuries which have seen them miss so much of the season so far will
become more infrequent the older they get.
"The two of them are terrific talents," said Ferguson.
Even an off-form United are good enough to beat boring Villa
Manchester United were extremely poor against an excellent Crystal Palace in the Carling Cup and
there must be serious questions now as to whether Darron Gibson, the Da Silva twins and Federico
Macheda are ever going to be good enough to be regulars at Old Trafford.
Why Jones and Smalling prove that Fergie's the Master of the Roles
Phil Jones and Chris Smalling are two great examples of central defenders who have shown a
brilliant aptitude to play at right-back. The Manchester United duo are better defenders than the
Da Silva twins and are relaxed and comfortable when on the ball, especially in advanced
areas.
I am in Washington D.C. for the Barcelona v Manchester United match on Saturday. Tonight both
teams had a practices that were open to the middle and fans.
This was the second time that I have seen United practice and they look a little faster and
sharper than they did two weeks ago in Boston.

In which a young Luis Suarez makes his televisual debut, appearing on what appears to be the
Uruguayan version of 'Fun House' only without the hot(ish) cheerleader twins and Pat Sharp's
ferocious mullet...
He still hasn't grown into those teeth, bless his little cotton socks.
It used to Harvey All the Time.
Now it is Harvey No More.
The Union announced on Thursday afternoon that Jordan Harvey has been traded to Vancouver for
allocation money.
Harvey joined the Union in the 2010 Expansion Draft from the Colorado Rapids, where he began his
MLS career in 2008.
Man United have sent many of their players on a global tour to parade their 19th Premiership
Trophy and Futbolita was invited to a Nike event yesterday, where retired but
highly-respected goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar was present. Although we were
itching to ask about Barca (strictly "off-topic" apparently) van der Sar told
Futbolita he still cannot tell the Da Silva twins apart from one another
at training.
This is the new Turkish Airline Ad featuring Manchester United's Wayne Rooney,
Darren Fletcher, Nani, Chris Smalling and twins Fabio and Rafael.
Luiz Henrique da Silva giggles at the question: how do you spot the difference between Rafael and
Fábio? The big brother, who came to England to look after the Brazilian twins, seems genuinely
puzzled by how, as in the lyrics of the chant that echoes around Old Trafford, when the boys run
down the pitch, one can't say which is which.
Manchester United has released the above video to promote its 2011 summer tour of the United
States. The video stars Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez, the Da Silva twins and other Manchester
United players combined with archival footage from last...
