The FAI today officially confirmed that Giovanni Trapattoni's Ireland will play the Czech Republic in a friendly in Dublin on February 29.

Everton have completed the signing of Irish international midfielder Darron Gibson from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee.

So I saw this happening yesterday, but can't, for the life of me, find a credible source aside from an errant tweet from somebody named Guillermo Arango, an apparent radio host or writer for RCN Radio.
