On Saturday night, Russia defeated Slovenia 2-1 in the first leg of their World Cup Playoff, in
Russia. Russia had gone 2-0 up, thanks to a double from Diniyar Bilyaletdinov, however Slovenia
scored in the 88th minute with a goal from Nejc Pecnik, that has kept the Slovenians alive in the
tie, especially with a crucial away goal.

Up until now, we weren't sure whether Setanta Sports or Fox Soccer Channel would show the game,
but the game is now listed on Fox Soccer Channel's TV schedule. Following the game, FSC will show
West Ham United versus Arsenal at Noon ET.

Fox Soccer Channel and ESPN have been busy in preparation for next summer's World Cup.
According to SportsBusiness Daily, Fox will be airing two shows. One, "Ticket To South Africa"
will feature post-match analysis of the day's World Cup games. Two, in the run up to tournament,
Fox will show "Passport to South Africa," which will be a mini-series featuring the history of the
World Cup.
