It looks like Joseph Ngwenya's return to the Houston Dynamo might not be happening after all, at
least not anytime soon. The Zimbabwe-born forward's last club, Turkish side Antalyaspor, has turned
down the Dynamo's request for Ngwenya's International Transfer Certificate (ITC), apparently due a
dispute between the player and the manner in which he left the club.
The last time a team outside of Istanbul won the Turkish league was in 1984, when Trabzonspor's
golden era ended with their sixth SüperLig title and a Türkiye Kupası trophy for the double.
Trabzonspor's run of six titles between 1976 and 1984 was the only time a team outside of
Istanbul's triopoly of Galatasaray, Fenerbahce [.
The U.S. men's national team will hold it's pre-World Cup training camp at Princeton University
from May 17-23.
The team will hold its final camp at Roberts Stadium on the campus of Princeton University
before playing its final two matches on home soil before the World Cup, vs the Czech Republic on
May 25 and Turkey on May 29.
