In the pub on a Tuesday night watching United v Stoke when one of us mentions "5 years ago, we'd
have all been there tonight." A moment's reflection and it's with a sadness that this truth is
realised. Sure we didn't all get to sit with each other and not all of us were [...]
Why does Germany wear green? The Ireland myth and the truth.
After dropping a few hints over the past few months, Adidas released the new Germany away kit
that will be used throughout EURO 2012. It's green. Really, really green. Like you, we've seen a
German flag before and could not find a trace of green on it.

Truth? Hype? The players representative pulling strings? Or just all Bullshit? The beauty behind
Football & Spanish Sports paper "Marca" is that all four possibilities can exist &/or co-exist?
That REAL MADRID & FC Barcelona (also mentioned) are following, plus the latter thinking in
signing next season the Dutch forward is not at all new.

It is now emerging that Neymar will not be leaving Santos after all. Premier League club Chelsea
have confirmed that they have ended their pursuit for the teen star after he committed his future
to Santos until 2014.
Villas-Boas revealed that his side have failed in trying to sign Neymar and that he has already
chosen his next destination which will most likely be Barcelona.
I wondered being honest, how long it would take until we heard from either Nico Anelka or Alex
after their departures from Chelsea back in last month's transfer window and it hasn't taken
long.
The Sun over here in the UK leads with an interview Anelka has given about the end of his Chelsea
career and claims he was left to rot with the reserves.
Now the title of this one might be rather annoying to some fans. Many (me included) have seen Tom
Cleverley becoming something of a savior for our team. In truth, when we were 2-0 down against
City...

Of course with a headline like this, I just had to post about it. The article in today's SUN heaps
more pressure on AVB at Chelsea when would you believe it, we are playing United on Sunday!.
That's not like the press to put pressure on a Chelsea manager before a big game is it?.
The quote taken from the article from a "top source" states the following:
"Jose would go back to Chelsea.
As London went Siberian (although not for me; watched at home while looking after the boy)
Fulham were much as Fulham are. Yes, we lacked a true number 25, but individual players are
always less important than we think they'll be. In truth we looked more or less okay.
Fulham lined up with what was more or less a 4-4-2, Murphy and Sidwell flanked by Duff and
Davies, with Dempsey and Ruiz a surprising but skilful front two.
The Fire have had a tremendous offseason so far. We have fortified our midfield, improved our
defense in the SuperDraft, and even added some forwards to the mix. The Fire midfield is certainly
the most populated on the team, and one I would definitely consider it a strength. It's credit to
the front office for taking what was considered a big weakness last year and turning it into one of
our strong points.

There are a lot of quotes from Sebastien Le Toux in this article. Many of them come from
Chris Vito's (of the Delco Daily Times and The Times Herald) fantastic interview with Seba. Check
it out. Many quotes from Peter Nowak are from his January 31 press conference.
Some time in December, a story emerged in the papers linking Spurs with a move for Manchester
City's Carlos Tevez. In truth, nobody really believed it but at the time, a ‘source' stated that
it would be the biggest deal since Klinsmann.
In the end, we got a transfer that was reminiscent of a deadline day deal that happened a few
years ago.
One rumor making the rounds in the NBA has the Philadelphia 76ers interested in Amare Stoudemire
of the New York Knicks. Although Stoudemire is off to a slow start this season, another team may
want to acquire him and surround him with better players.
That said, that team is not the Sixers.
OTP understands that none of these will happen It's the last day of the transfer window, and in
truth it has been shockingly quiet. Whether that means it will all kick off tonight remains to be
seen, but here are five things that certainly won't be happening: 1. Harry Redknapp's car window

Real Madrid midfielder Kaka has revealed that his future with the club has been assured by club
president Florento Perez and coach Jose Mourinho.
Kaka has struggled with injuries since joining Real Madrid in 2009, but has periodically
displayed his old skill in recent matches and had one of his best games games in a Real Madrid
shirt in Saturday's 3-1 win over Zaragoza.
Arsenal's defence has taken a pounding over the last few weeks with the numerous injuries to the
back line, and Arsene Wenger has maintained that there is no truth in any of the Arsenal transfer
rumours and he will not be making any purchases in the next few days, maybe! He was typically
cryptic last [.

Hearty congrats to the USWNT who are currently storming their way through the CONCACAF Olympic

Henrique: still off to QPR?
São Paulo director, João Paulo de Jesus Lopes, says that the door has not been shut on forward
Henrique's transfer to QPR. The Morumbi club say that contrary to earlier reports, Henrique has not
been denied a UK work visa. "The truth is the visa wasn't turned down.
There's nothing like coming home! Just ask Lucas Leiva, who showed up to his
first day of recuperation at Liverpool's Melwood training ground yesterday after spending six weeks
back home in Brasil. The midfielder received a warm welcome from the club's staff and of course
teammates Dirk Kuyt and Pepe Reina were also around to show
their support.
Owen Coyle felt Bolton Wanderers ran out deserved winners following their emphatic 3-1 success over
Liverpool at the Reebok.
Bolton came into the game having lost 10 straight in league action to the Reds, a record that ended
in style on Saturday.
Mark Davies fired the home side ahead early on with Nigel Reo-Coker doubling their advantage in the
29th minute.
For the first time in five years we have now lost three Premiership matches in a
row.
I am starting this story now Tuesday evening the 17th where the thoughts of last nights radio
conversation on Talksports Drivetime between Adrian Durham and Ray Parlour are still fresh in my
mind.
It took barely three weeks for the blue sky thinking to start again in 2012, but this time the
idea came from one of the more unlikely of available sources. In an interview with The Guardian,
Andres Villa Boas has stated an opinion that Chelsea should be allowed to field a 'B' team in the
Championship.
Roberto Martinez No-one can say that Roberto Martinez is not likeable, but personality does not a
successful manager make. Wigan have now won just two of their last 20 games in all competitions,
sit bottom of the Premier League and went out of the FA Cup to League Two Swindon a fortnight ago.
In truth [.
All because Liverpool hasn't made a move yet in the transfer market doesn't mean that people
aren't saying they're about to. So join us for the latest fun-like substance as we run down the
latest collection of names being linked into—and out of—the club as the end of the January
window edges into sight.
So with Real Madrid and Barcelona scheduled to meet tomorrow at the Bernabeu for their first
leg Copa Del Rey quarterfinal fixture, attention is already starting to get centred around the
Messi Ronaldo debate.
Truth be said, although the debate is starting to get boring, it will be interesting to see how
Ronaldo responds to his critics and the world player of the year.
United went level with Manchester City at the top of the Barclays Premier League thanks to
Saturday's three-nil win over struggling Bolton. In truth, for the second home league game in a
row, despite the winning margin, United made hard work of it. While the win over Bolton keeps the
pressure on leaders City, it was not the performance of champions.
Wallowing in the glory of Henry's movie-moment comeback was not meant to last all week, but for
me it has. The YouTube video I breathlessly uploaded at about midnight on Monday has now had about
37,000 hits (and Analytics tell me 90.6% of those who watched it were male, with 9.7% female how do
they know this I wonder – though my brother did confidently predict that he had watched it "about
28,000 times" so maybe there's some truth in that).
BBC: Andy Carroll's agent denies transfer link to Newcastle
The agent of Liverpool's Andy Carroll says there is "no truth" in newspaper reports linking the
striker with a return to Newcastle United.

In truth, there have been relatively few rumours linking Spurs players into or away from the
club and this has been a relatively quiet window so far. However, it seems that Harry Redknapp has
spent most of his time deflecting attention away from the majority of players already in the
squad.
They've been pretty battered in the last couple of weeks, so it's no wonder that Man
United brought their A Game and fans to the City of Light last night. Unfortunately, any
game between City and United has been classified as 'Category C' which is the "highest security
grade" by British police who put riot police on standby in the event of trouble.
As most of you will probably know, Tottenham Hotspur manager, Droopy Dog Harry Redknapp, claimed in
an interview that there was a release clause in the contract of Demba Ba, with well known bastion
of truth, the Daily Mail, following up the droopy one's claims with a story that the figure named
in that clause [.

So i don't know whether to believe these rumours or simply laugh them off. Aston Villa are
reported to be seriously considering signing Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.
By all standards, Villa is a good team, however, Alex Mcleish's plans on Drogba joining at the
end of the season are a bit too ambitious.
We don't think the rumors about Andy Carroll returning to Newcastle on a loan deal, have any truth
to them whatsoever. Coloccini challenging Andy Carroll last Friday night at Anfield To us it seems
more like some mischief by the gossip press, on a player who has come in for some some
over-the-top criticism since he joined Liverpool [.
Man City 3-0 Liverpool Big Match Verdict: Reds need to sign a goal-scorer and not just
to fill in for Suarez
It is tempting to suggest, with Luis Suarez embarking on a five-week holiday, that Liverpool
will now require urgent transfer-window intervention. The truth is though, they probably needed it
whether the South American was banned or not.
Suarez statement on his ‘upset' at ‘totally false' allegations
Following on from the announcement that Liverpool would not be appealing his eight-match ban,
Luis Suarez issued a statement of his own. First of all I would like to thank everyone so much for
all the help and support I have received during these last few weeks.
The candidates for the 2011 U.S. Soccer Female Athlete of the Year are as good as ever and truth be
told, all five would be deserved winners.
