The latest video flashback takes us back to 1988 when England was a terrible football team
despite finding glory just two years later in the 1990 World Cup.
This video features Brian Clough and Brian Moore. Cloughie makes a flub in the beginning of the
analysis but doesn't seem to care, which is followed by commentary from the legendary Brian Moore
and Trevor Francis in this match which ended 0-0.

Just when you think you've seen it all, Torino have shelled out £100,000 to lure Dennis Law
from Manchester City. Yes, it's 1961 and the record transfer fee paid to or by an English club has
broken the hundred thousand mark.
Shocking.
The previous record was £65,000 when John Charles moved from Leeds to Juventus in 1957.

The moment King Eric nearly became an owl Some things we love about this video: 1. The fact that a
top-flight English club seems to be training in a school sports hall. 2. Reminiscing about a time
when a squad containing a Swede and an American was cosmopolitan. 3. Thinking about Trevor Francis

challenging for 6th? If that wasn't strange enough, once Champions League semi-finalists
Leeds United are currently sitting in the middle of [.

Trevor Francis As it turns out, Kaka isn't on his way to Manchester. He's staying loyal to the
Milan faithful after his agent let slip that it was City who had made the offer, not United. It's a
significant time for such a credit-busting bid to be scuppered, knowing it would easily have become
the world record transfer, knocking Zidane's move to Madrid off the top spot.
