Another great review from Papai...
There were two Italias on display last night, each showcasing a facet of the Italian National team
that we have come to recognise over the years. The team in white was clearly in semi-holiday mode,
and taking things lightly as it was just a friendly. The team in green displayed the
characteristics so admired in the classic azzurri squads – tenacity, tactically nullifying an
opponent, organisation and taking full advantage of whatever chances that came their way.
Here we go again with Serie A Weekly giving you a list of five stories to read this lunchtime
that we have seen from around the web and enjoyed ourselves. Many of these will be about Italian
football of course but there is always room for something different and those will be here too.
Take a look at our recommendations, pass them on and be sure to leave a comment on these great
articles.
To begin this post, as I hope to begin most posts, we'll take a look at five of the bigger
calcio-related news stories of the day before delving into a relevant topic. Covered today: Cosmi's
new formation for Palermo, Roma's rigore madness, and Juventus just may be trying too hard.
5 Headlines from the Peninsula:
- Serse Cosmi has announced that Palermo's formation will be changing.
