According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United have signed Freddie Veseli from
Manchester City.
The 19-year-old central defender joined the club in 2008 but has become frustrated by the lack
of first team opportunities. He made his debut for the club in a pre-season friendly in the summer
but when the dreadful Stefan Savic got the nod ahead of him during Vincent Kompany's absence, the
Veseli clearly realised it was time to leave.
Reports this morning suggested that Mame Biram Diouf has agreed a loan move to Hannover,
however, more recently, claims have been made that he has signed a two and a half.
German site, Kicker, claims he passed his medical this morning and is ready for a permanent move
for around £1.5m. Hannover are currently 7th in the league, 10 points behind Bayern Munich, having
scored just 21 goals in 19 games.
After reports emerged than Manchester United had turned down a £1m bid for Ravel Morrison, Sir
Alex Ferguson revealed that the youngster's agent was trying to find the player a new club.
"His demands are unrealistic as far as we're concerned," the manager said.
One of Morrison's friends showed him a picture on Twitter of the player in a United shirt, but
with "CASH" photoshopped across the front.
Sir Alex Ferguson has today confirmed the rumours that Newcastle have had a bid rejected for
Ravel Morrison.
The player who has been long tipped to be the most talented player to come through our youth
team since the likes of David Beckham and Paul Scholes looks set to leave Manchester United.
Darron Gibson has agreed a four and a half year deal with Everton today. His contract was due to
expire in the summer and the club were not interested in offering him a new deal.
Gibson had been desperate to make a go of his Manchester United career and has waited until he
is 24-years-old to make the move on after failing to hold down a regular place in the team.
The Sun reported earlier today that Ravel Morrison's contract talks with Manchester
United had broken down.
Speaking on Twitter, Morrison has claimed that there is no contract offer for him to talk about.
Is that because he's signed a deal? Is it because he's rejected the latest offer and there isn't
another deal on the table?
The Independent has run a story today which claims that Wayne Rooney and Sir Alex
Ferguson have fallen out which has lead to the striker looking for a move away from the club,
again.
Acting quickly, in a statement issued last night by the club and Rooney's agent, Paul Stretford,
it was confirmed that Rooney has no intention of leaving United.

Wesley Sneijder has more or less ruled himself out of a January transfer move after reports
linked him to a move to Manchester United.
The Dutch midfielder was close to a move to United in the summer and rumours suggest that Sir
Alex Ferguson isn't prepared to give him a second chance at joining the club.
Mame Biram Diouf has claimed that Wigan are amongst several clubs who are interested in signing
him on loan this January.
After an average loan spell at Blackburn last season, scoring 6 goals in 29 games, including a
hattrick against Norwich in the League Cup and a goal against Arsenal, he is hoping to end the
season well so he can get in United's team next year.
It has been confirmed today that Manchester United youngster, Ryan Tunnicliffe, will remain at
Peterborough on loan for the rest of the season. He has made 24 appearances for the club since
joining them in the summer.
It has taken several weeks for an extension to be agreed but Barry Fry, the director of football
at Peterborough, spoke highly of the teenager when the deal was being talked about.
Federico Macheda's loan move to QPR was confirmed today ahead of his début against Norwich.
"There is a lot of competition at Manchester United, there are some very good strikers
there," Kiko said. "But I am still young and I need to get more experience in the Premier
League. I am here to train hard firstly and then I hope to play a big part in the games.
Dimitar Berbatov was the Premier League's top scorer seven months ago and lifted a record
breaking 19th title with Manchester United. He has been fourth choice striker at the club this
season though, behind Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez.
The club tried to sell the striker in the summer following his omission from the Champions
League final squad but the player wasn't having any of it, determined to stay on our books and
fight for his place and has behaved admirably since.
Sir Alex Ferguson has claimed that Manchester United have enough experience of injuries to get
through the season without needing to buy someone in the January transfer window.
"I think it's how you handle the situation," said Ferguson. "We're not panicking.
We've got enough experience in the staff to cope with these things.
Over the past few weeks, with Manchester United keen to extend Paul Pogba's contract with the
club, there have been rumours linking him with a move to Italian clubs. The papers suggested that
the talented youngster would be able to leave on a free this summer although the manager has today
confirmed we have the option to extend his current deal for another year.
Federico Macheda's agent Giovanni Bia has today claimed that the striker will be off on loan in
January when the transfer window opens.
After a disappointing time on loan with Sampdoria, Bia claims that the Italian striker won't be
returning to his homeland on loan again, but will probably accept one of the offers that has come
in for him.
Whilst his agent hinted that he would be open to a move to Anzhi Makhachkala this week, Sir Alex
Ferguson has claimed that Dimitar Berbatov is going nowhere.
"Dimitar is still in my thoughts," said Ferguson. "I have read some things but
there is absolutely no reason for me to let him go.
After becoming the Premier League's top scorer last season, Dimitar Berbatov has found himself
as Manchester United's fourth choice striker this season, behind Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and
Danny Welbeck.
Whilst the player has repeatedly spoken about the manager in a respectful way and stated his
desire to get back in to the team, his agent, Emil Danchev, has claimed Berbatov would be open to a
move away from the club this January.

Following reports in this morning's Daily Mail linking Nemanja Vidic with a move to
Real Madrid, our captain's agent, Paolo Fabbri, has come out quickly to deny any possible move.
There were strong rumours that Vidic was going to leave in the summer of 2010, which his agent
repeatedly denied, before the player went on to sign a new four year deal.
Tomasz Kuszczak has again spoken about his frustration at not being allowed to leave Manchester
United following options to join other clubs on loan.
Towards the end of last season, as United battled to claim that 19th league title, Kuszczak
spoke to the papers about his desire to leave the club and become a #1 elsewhere.

Back in April 2005, who would have one day predicted we would be talking about Rio Ferdinand
playing in his tenth season at Manchester United. Less than three years after joining the club, the
then 26-year-old defender was spotted with in restaurants with Chelsea chief executive, Peter
Kenyon, on two occasions that month.
Manchester United were keen to bring Wesley Sneijder to the club this summer but a deal could
not be agreed for the player.
Speaking to the Italian media at an awards ceremony at University of Rome Tor Vergata, Sir Alex
Ferguson has today claimed that whilst Sneijder is a great player, he's still not on a level with
Paul Scholes, who retired this summer.
When Joe Cole was available on a free transfer from Chelsea last summer, I was one of many
United fans who thought he'd be worth a punt. Turns out the club weren't interested but I was not
alone in thinking he might be worth the wages with him coming without a transfer fee.
Cole, who claimed to be a lifelong Chelsea fan, rubbed salt in the wounds of blues upon signing
for Liverpool.
Christian Eriksen, the highly rated 19-year-old Danish international, has been linked with a
whole host of top clubs across Europe, with United and Real Madrid supposedly keen to land his
signature.
The playmaker's agent claimed that he turned down an offer from Manchester City, whilst the
player himself played down talk of a move to Liverpool.
After sealing a five year deal with Newcastle, Gabriel Obertan has spoken about the seasons why
he left Manchester United.
The Frenchman joined United two years ago for £3m, much to the surprise of his manager, Laurent
Blanc, who didn't think he was good enough for us.
He's played just 28 games in all competitions in the past two seasons and despite showing some
potential, isn't prepared to bide his time to see if he makes the first team.
The Mirror has today reported that Inter Milan have accepted a bid in excess of £30m
for Wesley Sneijder.
They have also claimed that PSG are prepared to pay £18m for Dimitar Berbatov.
"Sneijder Bid Accepted? Berba To PSG?" was originally published at The
Republik of Mancunia.
"If he wants to come he must accept our contract offer If not, we have
other options in mind. We're done talking."

David Gill has today played down any suggestion that Manchester United are prepared to sell
Dimitar Berbatov. Despite both Berbatov and his agent repeatedly claiming he has no interest in
leaving United, he has been linked with moves to Italy.
With just one year remaining on his current deal, there was the belief that Berba had to agree a
new contract this summer, or leave on a free next year.
It's as though Patrice Evra thoroughly enjoys being so widely hated by Arsenal fans, who sing
that he's a "cant" every time the two teams mate.
After previously claiming that Samir Nasri needed to join Manchester United if he wanted to win
trophies, Evra has again reiterated the fact he has spoken to the players about the benefits of
joining our club.
For some reason, some Sunday papers have linked Manchester United with former City midfielder,
Joey Barton.
In response, clearly knowing there's no truth in the story, Barton pledged his loyalty to
Newcastle, claiming he would turn a move down.
Barton is currently in England whilst his team mates are on tour because his criminal
convictions mean he wasn't granted a visa.
Despite Manchester United being strongly linked with a move to Wesley Sniejder, Sir Alex
Ferguson attempted to play down the story this week. Without point blank claiming that we were not
interested, the manager wanted to distance the club from the story.
"The situation is that there is no real interest in Wesley Sneijder at this moment in time
for a lot of reasons," Ferguson said.
Reports from Holland claim that Manchester United will meet with Inter Milan in the next 48
hours to discuss the transfer fee for Wesley Sneijder.
De Telegraaf claims that a lot of work has been going on behind the scenes to try and sort out a
deal, with an offer of £35m looking like the required sum of money.

RoM: Do you like Fergie?
DT: Well, I'd probably like him more if he re-admitted me to his Friday press conferences! I
certainly find him fascinating, I admire his achievements, his longevity, the way he has beaten the
system for so long. He's always got an opinion, he's never dull.

After securing a four year deal with Sunderland, Wes Brown has explained the reasons behind his
move were lack of playing time at Manchester United and the influence of Steve Bruce.
"It was disappointing not to have played as much as I could at Manchester United over the
last couple of seasons so just to know that I'll be back in, playing, I'm focusing on that really
and looking forward to it," said Wes.
