The reason why you don't find too many articles about transfer gossip on EPL Talk is because most
of them are bullsh*t. Most of the rumors in British newspapers are self-manufactured to increase
circulation numbers and pageviews. It's a sleazy...
Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel is aware of the speculation surrounding his future, but insists he
has received no approach for his services.
Transfer gossip continues to suggest that the Slovakia international is a summer target for Premier
League champions Manchester City.
Roberto Mancini is said to have set his sights on the Slovakia international as he looks to
reinforce his back four.
It's that time of the year again when transfer gossip heats up faster than anÂ
Oprah-written telenovela episode! Brazil's Lucas Moura, who was
furiously working out at the gym yesterday, is one of the better-balanced and geekier Brazilian
players in the squad (think Kaka's mentality, love for Morrissey and a little bit of
Neymar's Pagode influence).
I used to spend summers avidly reading every bit of transfer gossip containing the words
"Manchester United", wondering which player would make the step from a smaller English club to M16
or which footballer would bring his continental flair and panache onto the Old Trafford turf. These
days, even though my journalism internship requires me [.
Schalke midfielder Lewis Holtby is reluctant to speculate on proposed contract talks or reports
linking him with a move to the Premier League.
The Germany international has confessed in the past to being an admirer of the English top-flight,
sparking speculation that he could soon be on the move.
With four days left until Sunday's title decider, Fleet Street has taken its eyes off the title
race for a day and concentrated them on the transfer gossip. United fans might wish to look away
now as the news aren't exactly exciting. Let's start with the Mirror that reveals that Paul Pogba
has finally made [.

Tottenham's Summer Transfer Targets: Closing in on Vertonghen - originally posted on

For a club that won't be in the Champions League next season, which may struggle to keep its

Tottenham's Summer Transfer Targets: 'Likely', 'Possible' and 'Get The F*** Away From Us' -

Transfer gossip columns this week seem to be looking for an alternative to Eden Hazard should
any approach from Spurs for the Lille midfielder fall through. Attention has fallen today on the
Juventus winger Milos Krasic and the focus has been fuelled by the Serbian's comments that seem to
express regret at not tying up a loan move to White Hart Lane in January.
Some amazing PSP original work from the past few days: Earl Gardner's sweet photo essay from the
SOB Help Kick Hunger event, info on the MLS All-Star game, Ed's fantastic piece on the last
All-Star game in Philly, Dan's take on the possibility of selling Le Toux, and Eli's examination
of the U's post-Seba strike force.
So that's the title challenge put to bed for another year- I must say it was terrific fun while
it lasted. Barely had I got the blue and white bunting down from the loft after our win against
Everton, was I then tossing it into the fire with all my tax returns again on Saturday evening.
Easy come, easy go.
It's January, as you might've noticed; and if you hadn't I would suggest those New Year's
resolutions about not drinking anything that really ought to be kept on a shelf in the shed aren't
going all that well. For the rest of you, you know the score. It's the beginning of the year and
that can mean only one thing: the always-good-for-a-laugh-don't-believe-everything-you

The silly season got sillier for the Philadelphia Union over the weekend. Following word from
England that Sebastien Le Toux reportedly did not sufficiently impress while on trial with Bolton,
and the news that Danny Mwanga is training for two weeks with Aston Villa, the Union transfer rumor
well still wasn't dry.
Get Real Everyone knows that the transfer window is silly season in football, with clubs
overvaluing their players, agents hawking out their stars to all and sundry, and the tabloid
newspapers sticking a pin in a map and guessing which players are going left, right and centre. The
People newspaper has excelled itself this morning, [.

"In The Know" (ITK)! - Horrible! Even Consideration of a Merger between Portsmouth and Bournemouth
I do not care for transfer gossip, I prefer to concentrate on the here and now, and that is why 3
points this weekend is absolutely massive in many ways for the club. The game needs no hype,
holding on to third spot is essential for the club to build a challenge for next season. Â We need
to show our true colours, we need a committed, a solid defensive and a disciplined performance this
One of the main focuses for the transfer gossip columns is a mission to find a long term
replacement for Ledley King. The name of Darijo Srna is the latest to earn a mention but does he
have the experience and credentials needed to step into the club skipper's boots?
At first glance the answer may be no because his favoured position is at right back.
There's nothing like a bit of transfer gossip to get football fans frothing at the mouth, and
currently, Twitter is getting very excited by the news that, according to German newspaper Bild, FC
Koln attacker Lukas Podolski is set to join Arsenal in the summer.
