We've always liked Ryan Taylor, ever since he joined Newcastle in a makeweight deal when Charles
N'Zogbia was signed by Wigan for £6M plus Ryan Taylor in January of 2009. Ryan Taylor great

summer, the former Tranmere Rovers player had played [.
A scarier kind of Cup knockout The Johnstone's Paint Trophy match between Accrington Stanley and
Tranmere Rovers was called off last night when Stanley defender Tom Bender suffered a head injury.
The 18-year-old was knocked unconscious in a collision with his goalkeeper Ian Dunbavin and
Tranmere striker Lucas Akins.

Why India, Bangladesh and Pakistan are teams still a threat against Nepalese teamNepal is on
top of SAFF rankings with respect to the FIFA. But there are some issues that can raise your
eyebrows. India can cope up regardless of their cricketing fanatic supporters owing to larger
population.
Last season, Brighton cantered to the title, with Southampton and Huddersfield fighting
neck-and-neck for most of the campaign before the Saints eventually prevailed and were joined in
the Championship by play-off winners Peterborough. But who will be up there or thereabouts this
year?

Liverpool's left back question could be right on Kenny Dalglish's door step, as Tranmere Rovers
youngster Danny Holmes has been linked to the club, according to talkSPORT.
Dalglish has so far been looking abroad to the likes of Aly Cissokho for a new Liverpool left back,
but the Merseyside neighbours have been harbouring a budding star suitable for the role.
I was 8 years old when John Barnes parted ways with Liverpool, for this reason i don't remember too
much of the Jamaican born winger but my first memory of Barnes was watching a countdown of
footballing moments programme with my Dad. That famous moment in 1984 when John Barnes weaved
through the Brazilian defence like it wasn't even there will forever amaze me, no matter how many
times i replay
It was revealed at the start of July that the Tigers were closing on a deal for Gulacsi, who has
yet to make a first-team appearance at Liverpool.
He has, however, enjoyed loan spells at Hereford United and Tranmere Rovers, and is tipped to be
the Tigers' first choice this season.
The Championship club also have former Bristol City goalkeeper Adriano Basso on trial and Hull's
head of football operations Adam Pearson expects to secure a deal for Gulacsi.
Families of Hillsborough victims rejected any return to standing at football matches.
They spoke out as a public debate about the reintroduction of "safe" standing at football grounds
in England went ahead in Liverpool last night.
The meeting was organized by the Football Supporters' Federation (FSF) at The Sandon pub, in
Anfield.
We really have the greatest manager of all time. He's witty, he's adorable, even his signature
is wholly lovable. In fact, I thought I couldn't love him anymore, but I was wrong. Today he lead
out Bolton Wanderers as captain in the Merseyside Masters. I think I actually got quite a bit more
excited about it than the occasion warranted, but I am really missing my Wanderers.
Treble heroes Patrik Berger and Stephane Henchoz will line-up for Liverpool legends in the Selco
Mersey Masters at the Echo Arena on Saturday.
The duo will join other stars from Liverpool's illustrious past in the tournament that also
includes teams from Everton, Tranmere Rovers, Wigan Athletic, Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool.
The fact that it is possible to build a team from Dutch players who have plied their trade in
the Football League in the past season gives an indication of the now global nature of the game not
only in the upper echelons on the Premier League, but also in the much loved Football League
(Championship, League One and League Two).
Liverpool goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi is set to leave Anfield on a season long loan according to
manager Kenny Dalglish according to reports on Sky Sports.
Gulacsi has been with Liverpool since 2007 but is yet to feature for the Reds and is currently the
second choice keeper at the Merseyside club.

Between the sticks is the unfortunate Romain Larrieu of Plymouth Argyle, he
played eighteen games in an ultimately doomed season for the Pilgrims who were relegated to the
fourth tier. Across the back is former Spurs and Wigan fullback Pascal Chimbonda
of QPR, Jean-Yves M'voto of Oldham Athletic, Maxime Blanchard of
Tranmere Rovers and Stephane Zubar of Plymouth Argyle.
Tranmere's Dale Jennings - Bayern Target?
Now that the year's league campaigns are drawing to a close, the silly season is fast
approaching, as rumours are banded about fast and furious, many based purely on speculation and
hearsay.
My favourite rumour though, since confirmed to be true, despite its outlandish and hard to
believe nature, concerns Tranmere's wonderkid Dale Jennings.
Law firm Bermans acted on one of the most eagerly-anticipated football deals of the season – for

sports stars in recent years.

Taraabt wins Championship Player of the Year award
QPR star Adel Taraabt was named Championship player of the year last night to cap Rangers'
memorable charge towards the Premier League.
I've been off-line for most of the last month – my PC is older than my jokes and I can't
afford a replacement on this money. And I was hopeful that, beyond Plymouth, there wouldn't be much
football financial mess to cover. Some hope. There was good news. The fact that West Ham's losses
were only £20.
David Ngog was at the double as Liverpool Reserves romped to a 4-0 friendly win over a strong
Tranmere Rovers side at the Academy on Tuesday afternoon.
The Frenchman opened the scoring with a thumping 35th minute strike before Daniel Ayala and
Emmanuel Mendy put the hosts out of sight in the second half.
One of the more interesting facets of the South Wales derby is that neither Cardiff City or
Swansea have ever managed to "do a league double" over the other side. Craig Bellamy's
wonder-strike on Sunday afternoon ensured that Cardiff City not only left the Liberty Stadium with
all three points, but also left without the inigmany of being the first side to lose two league
games against their bitter rivals in the same season (Swansea won the derby fixture at Cardiff last
November)
I thought it might be interesting to take a look at the other fixtures that haven't produced a
league double for either side and the results were (in my opinion) very surprising.
