Mr G trains, wears a charming shade of lilac.
Pretty much. Unless you're a QPR fan, nothing worth knowing went down. Though fake stories,
false sightings of players on trains to [insert your city], and "Carlos Tevez to Aston Villa!!!"
twitter hoaxes were in abundance. If you are interested, that's fine. Our friends at The World's

You'll notice that the sports updates on here have been few and far between...haven't been making
it to the match much recently for one reason or another and to be honest there's just nothing to
inspire a post. The premiership in general is pretty dull and Everton are as uninspiring as they've
been in ages.
We at In The Stands almost spilled our coffees upon seeing Canadian singing sensation Justin Bieber
at Stamford Bridge showing off his football skills and mingling with Chelsea stars Fank Lampard and
Fernando Torres! The video itself has gone viral and we could not resist a chuckle as Justin Bieber

Dad at Milan training with a couple of nimble step-overs before laying a smacker on his old

Armeio Neto, the Marketing Director for Santos FC, has pitched the idea of Pelé making an
appearance in the FIFA Club World Cup this December in a potential final versus Barcelona. Pelé,
who netted over 600 goals for his former club, will be a sprightly 71 years old when the tournament
begins.

Anybody know how to get to Majlis Perbandaran Selayang Stadium, capacity 11,098 (!) using public
transport and, more importantly, how to get back after a game?
Malaysia insists on the daft 8.45 pm kick offs which makes things difficult if you rely on buses or
trains especially when stadiums aren't alwaya that close to facilities.
Sporting Kansas City fulfilled there promise to the fans (members) of providing tickets to
traveling fans. They provided over 300 tickets to the match in Chicago. The Cauldron brought 2
buses packed with fans and others came by planes. trains and automobiles. There was also large
representation from the Milwaukee area.

If there's one thing we can take from International friendlies, it's the opportunity to become
acquainted with some hot new faces that we may otherwise not notice. Thank you, FIFA.

Kerata Api, the Indonesian Railway company, have announced they will no longer carry football fans.
They say many fans cause damage to trains, sit on the roof and don't buy tickets.
No-one I guess asked why the fans were allowed to sit on he roof or why they were allowed on the
train without tickets.

United have been boosted by Antonio Valencia's return to training only five months after he
suffered a horrific broken ankle in a Champions League draw with Rangers - although fellow winger

Recently, Travis Clark of MLSSoccer.com wrote a piece about 247GK owner (our sponsor) and former

Soccer fans in the Pacific Northwest won't have to wait until the regular season starts to see

most certainly at it's highest over Roy Hodgson's time at the club it's perhaps possible that we
won't even have a manager for Sunday's FA Cup clash against bitter rivals Manchester United.
Although it pains me to say it i reckon Sammy Lee might fancy giving it a pop in his one game in
