The thing that we all knew happened: Henry is a fraud. However, in the
tradition of French smooth frauds he is someone who made it into an art; in his country the books
about thieves are popular.
But the ‘hand' is not the only thing that makes Henry what he is; it is
simply incredible how people in England or football fans in general forget all the things this man
did.

I was reading about the rebel soccer teams and their departure from the United Soccer League's
First Division. It seems that St. Louis is about to unleash their soccer prowess upon the nation.
This is from the website of the newly formed St. Louis Soccer United.
St. Louis and soccer are synonymous.

When the story first broke that Newcastle United's Mike Ashley had decided to sell the naming
rights to St James Park, it seemed unlikely that he was doing it with the best interests of the
supporters of the club at heart. However, the confirmation made this week that for the rest of this
season St James Park will be known as "sportsdirect.

Cristiano Ronaldo has today compared the Premiership with La Liga, claiming that our defenders
are a lot tougher than the ones he's come across in Spain, with him particularly fond of the duels
he had with Ashley Cole.
As for City, Ronaldo says no amount of money can buy the history and success United have enjoyed
and there is no way he would play for any English club other than United.

By Andrew Dixon - MIAMI, FL (Oct 29, 2009) USSoccerPlayers -- Like it or not, MLS has become parity
central. Unless you entered the League courtesy of expansion and you're not named 'Fire' or
'Sounders,' you have a legit shot at winning MLS Cup. No matter how bad you were the previous year
or how much winning tradition you have, everyone can go into the start of the season thinking they
have a chance at.

Manchester United have a great tradition when it comes to handling players when they are going
through rough patches. They trust their players and are patient enough to help them realize their
real potential and this is the reason why many players want to be associated with United. With
January transfer market approaching, there are many names linked with the Red Devils.

Ahead of the last meeting between Manchester United and Liverpool, Wayne Rooney claimed he hated
Liverpool. The following day we got thumped 4-1 and our favourable position in the league started
to look increasingly shaky and the bragging rights were lost.
So ahead of Sunday's game, another big scouse-hater has been interviewed, but he has gone for
the more diplomatic approach, talking of his respect for Liverpool, whilst still acknowledging the
rivalry.

Man United captain
Gary Neville believes that the rivalry between United and
Liverpool is bigger than the one between United and
Manchester City. Neville has said
this ahead of the massive game between United and Liverpool this Sunday at Anfield.
Neville has also suggested that he may not like Liverpool but he does respect them because of their
history.

Did Graham Poll blow the call? Yeah, sure. I suppose it could be also be argued that Darren Bent
struck the ball flush, that it's path was not diverted by the beach ball and that Pepe Reina should
have kept his eyes on the more important ball. But the question of far more importance is why would
any fan, let alone one at his own team's end, bat a beach ball onto the pitch?

Book Review: Genius Does as it Must - Liverpool FC Banners Compiled by Chris McLoughlin and Adam
Oldfield
When people talk about the atmosphere at Anfield, particularly on a European night, they often
refer to the singing and the raw emotion that there is in the ground. Too often, they fail to pick
up on an important element that distinguishes Liverpool fans from many of their English
counterparts: the banners that adorn the stands.

I was surprised to see the attendance at yesterday's ISL game between Persebaya and Bontang given
as less than 4,000. This for a newly promoted side rich in tradition who took 6,000 to their play
off against PSMS at Soreang earlier in the year.
It seems the club's supporters, known as Bonek, are peeved at the hike in ticket prices.

LONDON - One of the things that the executive committee discussed for the revamped team of 2010,
was a slight change to the logo. Once again, the artists at NCLStudios.com were able to oblige; and
they did not disappoint!
Sitting down to discuss the ideas, it became clear that the design of the logo itself was not to be
tampered with as it has been a hit since day one, and a tradition at the club.

I suppose it's part of the tradition of the World Cup nowadays to have a lame mascot. Nice to see
that FIFA hasn't let us down with the 2010 iteration. I assume this has been around for a year or
two, but I've managed to avoid the image until today. I have to say, it makes me feel
uncomfortable.

With Barcelona, Valencia, Real Madrid and Bilbao all atop the standings it appears that someone
needs to step up and separate themselves from the pack. Unfortunately, it's too early to tell who
that will be.

derail their entire club:Â Well, right now they're making me look good.
