While we're on the subject of Gary Neville, do the England rugby bods really want a man who had
to be forcibly removed from a town hall after throwing a glitter-bomb at Republican US presidential
candidate Rick Santorum during a flesh-presser in Florida the other day to be the man to lecture
their troops on national pride and sporting morals?
Maradona may have been right when he questioned Leonardo's
role at Paris Saint-Germain on French TV earlier this week. It seems he is now the club's Official
Photographer! é uma piada, esses brasileiros! (it's a joke.. these
Brazilians!)
The Original Ronaldo 'O Fenômeno' (without ego and all that
guapo swag) visited the PSG training ground and facilities yesterday, where he was
enthusiastically welcomed and embraced.
News today that an inquest on Gary Speed's death will be opened today at the coroner's court at

Yeah, that's a kick ass night at Town Hall. Tickets are only 5$ for the 11 October evening
event.
Some interesting observations, including tidbits of news about the club, plans for the games ahead
and a look ahead to the future discussed during the TFC Supporters Town Hall held Thursday evening
Sept. 29th at BMO Field.

Yes, I have faltered in the blogging TFC world in recent weeks. I was so discouraged by the August
home game against San Jose that I stopped thinking and writing TFC for weeks. I had relatives in
town, my beloved uncle from Los Angeles. He has been a soccer fan since his childhood back in
England. We talk soccer all the time on the phone and get together annually - usually to watch the
big games.
Well done to Joe Anderson for standing up against that outrageous smear. Simon Hughes needs to put
up or shut up because this is just the lowest of the low.
From the Echo
Mr Hughes said: "There is a huge difference between councils that we run in places like Sheffield
which are having a small number of redundancies, places like Portsmouth where they are opening
services, not closing them, and places like Manchester and Liverpool which are clearly politicising
the cuts to make it sound worse and, bluntly, forcing people out of jobs when they needn't do so.
A couple of questions here:
1. Why is it that there is never anyone under the age of 40 at town hall or city council
meeting?
2. Why does the reporter pepper his speech with such odd pauses?
3. Did he really just say "park their ride?"
Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber was in Miami today for a town hall meeting and made
some interesting comments about the MLS's future expansion plans.
Gerber was asked about of the possibility of getting a MLS team back in South Florida. The Miami
Fusion played in MLS from 1998 through 2001.
