USA Setup: USA Coach Jurgen Klinnsman set up in a 4-2-3-1 with Michael Bradley as the #10 behind lone striker Edson Buddle. Bradley was not close enough to Buddle, and therefore Edson was isolated up top. He did however hold up the ball well when given the opportunity, it was just that his opportunities were few and far between.

The US tied 1-1 with Mexico last night in Jurgen Klinsmann's first game in charge of the national team.

First impressions were not positive as the U.S. were dominated by Mexico in the first half. Klinsmann sent the U.S. out in a 4-2-3-1 formation, but the U.S. could do little offensively in the first half, failing to even get a shot on goal.

3:10 p.m. Well, ok, we're not actually at the Rose Bowl yet. Luis and I decided to be environmental and carpool to the game and at this moment, we're stuck in the traffic leading to the stadium parking lots. People are walking past us at a steady clip, going faster than the molasses pace of the crowded cars.

En una prueba más de que este equipo va en serio, Tigres derrotó a Cruz Azul y sumado al empate de Pumas, terminó la jornada como líder general de la competencia. Los felinos se encontraron a un rival muy complicado, le jugó de igual a igual y terminó sacando un triunfo justo. Aprovechó las oportunidades que hubo, fue contundente y tuvo la capacidad de contener a la ofensiva celeste.

El día de mañana Tigres estará recibiendo al Cruz Azul por la Jornada 6 del Clausura 2011. Ambos equipos llegan con 10 unidades sumadas hasta el momento y sobretodo desarrollando un buen futbol en las jornadas anteriores. La "Máquina" viene de dos victorias consecutivas sin recibir gol (4-0 vs Pachuca y 2-0 vs Jaguares), mientras que los felinos vienen de pegarle al Santos a domicilio.
