Robin Van Persie is acting like a true Arsenal captain by issuing a rallying call to players and
fans alike by trying to instil confidence that there are still trophies possible for the Gunners
this season. Many Arsenal fans think that they are more likely to win at cash bingo games online
than to win [.
The Spanish midfielder Mikel Arteta was bought in the last minutes of the summer transfer window,
along with Per Mertesacker, Andre Santos, Yossi Benayoun and Ju Young Park, in the days following
the 8-2 defeat to Man Utd, and although Wenger denies that he was "panic-buying" Arteta believes
this was the reason he was brought [.
I am finding it very hard to come to terms with the fact that one of the top men on the board of
Arsenal football Club is not bothered whether Arsenal qualify for the Champions League or not, and
I am shocked by the implications of Peter Hill-Wood's words. Most Arsenal fans are aware that [...]
('Dances with Wolves' dances with Wolves)We could have danced all night and still not scored the
winner against Wolves The JimmyG2 Column In this Bumper Edition a legend resurfaces; Wolves
recaptured; Man City fail to impress; transfer window ignored and all, like the National Health
Service, free at the point of delivery and we're still six points clear in third.
The young Pole Wojciech Szczesny has maintained the confidence that Arsenal will still win a
Champions League place, and even had a couple of quid on Arsenal to go on and win the Premiership
just before Christmas. Since then the Gunners have dropped eight points in the title race and is
dropping away from the [.
Arsene Wenger came within a whisker of winning the Carling Cup last season, but he has now
re-iterated that it is far more important for Arsenal to finish in the Top Four of the Premiership
every season rather than win one of the domestic Cups. Wenger said: "You want your fans to be proud

What would premier league teams look like if they became sovereign nations, with their size
dictated by their net worth?

The German defender Per Mertesacker was just one of the Arsenal players that were denied a goal by
Wayne Hennessey in Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Wolves, but despite the small setback he is still
certain that the Gunners will be moving back into the Champions League places very shortly. "We had
a big chance to [.
With the news that Arsenal are to leave Robin Van Persie's contract talks until the summer, London
Evening Standard writer James Olley provided a candid analysis of the chances of the Dutchman
staying at the club in a frank interview with talkSPORT on Friday evening. Asked if a Champions
League spot would ensure Van Persie [.
Painful defeats to Liverpool and Manchester United plus a sorrowful draw at Newcastle ensured a
turbulent start to the 2011/12 season for the Gunners, with a small mountain to climb before
September had even begun. European qualification may have been secured but the league campaign was
looking destined for some degree of failure.
"Help me out lads, his Rubix cube is really starting to annoy me."Super, swaggering Spurs took
another step forward in Project Top Four or Project Top Three or Project Let's Finally Finish Above
The Arsenal or whatever it's being called this week. On current form, the sky appears to be the
limit with regards to our short term ambition.
Arsenal's win over Sunderland this weekend means they have now won half of their 8 games so far,
but having won 5 out of 6 home games the Gunners can believe they are coming back into form and
still challenge for a Top Four place in the coming weeks. The new German defender Per Mertesacker

Now probably wasn't the best time for Modric to enter into a bicep competition with member of the
Park LaneOh my, when we're good, we're good. Four goals to the Hotspur, none to the Liverpool
pretenders and, for ninety minutes on a Sunday afternoon, all felt right within the world. How long
that feeling is sustained for is now anyone's guess.
It's got to be said that Liverpool have been given the perfect timing to score a win against
Arsenal at the Emirates, which is always going to be one of their toughest games of the season.
Lets take a look at the mess that Arsenal are in at the moment. Arsenal have just had their
heart ripped out of the team, as one of their most influential player's of the last decade has just
been sold to Barcelona after years of speculation.
Here's the final installment of this Seasons Prem Wars trilogy sans the Lightsabres and Orks
although the Death star does get a mention. This is how I fancy the top tier of the English league
to look come May 2012. I'll also have a punt on the Champions League. Barcelona...no surprise there
then.
10 Sunderland (16)
Bruce & his Black Cats seemed to be the cats whiskers doing well until he found out that he's
daughter was seeing Darren Bent. I'm sure Bruces face was picture ....a nasty picture with that
mush. Bent was on his toes in no time with a big move down to the Midlands with Houllier where he
continued to keep scoring.
With a week to reflect on the last 10 months of footy I can safely come to conclusion that it
was a belter! This 2010-2011 brought us the tightest Premiership in yonks with just the cats
whiskers separating the top teams from the bottom. Some people are preaching that it was a very
weak league compared to others of the past but surely the smaller gap points means that it is
improving as a whole with the so called smaller fish giving the big whales a run for their
money.
The traditional English Premier League top four has been compromised. Gone are the days when it
was almost a given that the status quo would finish in the important positions at the top of the
table. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have long been the heavyweights of the
division, seasonally swapping positions in the top four.
GK Ben Foster Birmingham
One of the only reasons Birmingham aren't in the bottom three. Foster has been consistent all
season pulling a few worldy's along the way.
LB Leighton Baines Everton
An exceptional season for the leagues best left back.
Spurs fans have made the trip to Madrid as their side test their mettle against Real tonight in
arguably the biggest night in the club's history.
Yet despite the Champions League novices continuing to surprise many with their accomplished
performances, the main worry for the North Londoners is whether they can replicate their fourth
placed finish last season.
