bit of cleverness is this: when their Facebook page gets 92,012 likes, they will unveil the new
designs for the first and second kit. You can 'like' the Union by clicking here. As of this
writing, there are only 6,500 'likes' to go.
Tomasz Kuszczak's recent declaration that he is being treated "like a slave" at Manchester
United is certainly a dramatic overstatement but the goalkeeper's situation also warrants
sympathy.
Many have countered that if being a slave is training everyday and picking up a hefty paycheck,
more than a lot of people make in a year, then they would happily accept the hypothetical shackles
the Pole is chained to with Sir Alex Ferguson's side.
Football interviews are something like Goldilocks and the Three Bears: it's pretty lame if
they're toeing the vanilla line of political correctness and coached replies, but it's also not
smart to be completely open with one's candor. Somewhere in the middle is just right. Tomasz
Kuszczak has probably crossed the line a bit, confirmation awaiting upon information about his
salary.
Tomasz Kuszczak has again spoken about his frustration at not being allowed to leave Manchester
United following options to join other clubs on loan.
Towards the end of last season, as United battled to claim that 19th league title, Kuszczak
spoke to the papers about his desire to leave the club and become a #1 elsewhere.

A lot of the talk around the Spurs squad has centred around goalkeepers this week. Firstly,
manager Harry Redknapp underlined the fact that he considers Brad Friedel to be the club's number
one while at the same time, Carlo Cudicini has been trusted with the gloves in the Europa
League.
That has led to transfer talk involving Heurelho Gomes and it's thought that the erratic Brazilian
could be on his way as early as next January.
"I am angry and disappointed with the way I am treated," said Kuszczak. "I had a few good
offers. The problem was the club who wanted to sell me for ÂŁ4 million."
"Kuszczak: I'm Angry And Disappointed" was originally published at The
Republik of Mancunia.
Abhinav's Note: It's off season, and you might gather it's dry time for us authors. Ducky's
been in oblivion for quite a while (Ducky's Note: Through no fault of mine!), Nickspinkboots is
still refusing to concede that Lionel Messi is better than the 'best striker in the world' & I have
been busy analyzing how my IndiRank dropped in a way that eclipsed even Arsenal.
Tomasz Kuszczak has confirmed that he will be leaving Manchester United summer. After
unsurprisingly failing to displace Edwin Van der Sar as our number one and David De Gea all but
signed as our future number one, the Pole is no longer happy to warm the bench.
Kuszczak has become increasingly petulant as his frustration has grown.

The obituaries being written about Manchester United's OAPs for the last five years are now
finally relevant. Gary Neville and Edwin van der Sar have retired, Paul Scholes might have by the
time you read this article and Ryan Giggs is holding back the development of younger players with
more long-term value to the club.
With Edwin Van Der Sar retiring after Saturdays Champions League final when Man Utd face
Barcelona at Wembley (what a way to bow out of the game!), United will need to replace the reliable
Dutch stopper and it seems to be that they have found a near identical, if what comparatively
unexperienced keeper in David De Gea.

A confusing weekend for the Manchester newspapers, who, for the first time in some thirty-five
years, had a bit of a conflict as to which club's achievements they should be featuring on their
front page. We particularly enjoyed the Manchester Evening News, which evaded the problem
completely by sticking the Great Manchester Run on the front of their esteemed organ, and dealing
with other relevant matters elsewhere.
Manchester United clinched a record-breaking 19th Premier League crown after securing a 1-1 draw
against Blackburn at Ewood Park.
Wayne Rooney scored the decisive equaliser with 17 minutes left on the clock after Javier
Hernandez was felled by Blackburn goalkeeper Paul Robinson. The draw meant that the Red Devils
moved onto 77 points, seven ahead of Chelsea, and mathematically brings to an end a gruelling
2010/2011 Premier League campaign as far as top spot is concerned.
According to the Express and Star, West Bromwich are the favorites to sign
Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak, who looks set to
leave this summer due to a lack of playing time. Unfortunately there will be tough competition as
teams like Tottenham and Arsenal could be looking to sign goalkeepers.
Warming up, just in case. Van Der Saar denies injury worry - Yahoo! Eurosport Edwin van der Sar has
played down fears he suffered a recurrence of his groin injury during Manchester United's Champions
League win at Chelsea... However, the former Ajax man, United's shoot-out hero in the final against
Chelsea three years ago, insists it is not a serious problem.
Sir Alex Ferguson has always been a master at re-building squads over time, knowing the right
moment to let players go and scouting out youngsters with potential and turning them into
super-stars.
But in these days of financial uncertainty, with the Glazer's self-imposed ÂŁ500million debt
hanging over the club, Ferguson faces a big a job as ever if he is to refresh the squad as well as
balancing the books.
Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak has insisted that he finds in himself a suitable
replacement for 40 year-old Edwin van der Sar claiming he is good enough to fill in the gloves when
the Dutch finally calls quit.
Van der sar has been recently out with a flu, and the current Manchester United number 1 is
considering his options concerning either retiring or going on for Manchester United.
Tomasz Kuszczak has revealed that he has plans to replace Edwin Van der Sar at the end of the
season as Manchester United's number one.
"I know I have not got the biggest name in the world but, and I don't want this to sound
arrogant, I think I am good enough," he said. "I have talked to the boss a few times and
he said we will see what happens at the end of the season and I know that in the meantime if I get
a chance I have to play well because that is the only way I am going to impress him.
Being left without any certainty about his future isn't something that Machester United's
reserve goalkeeper, Tomasz Kuszczak, plans to keep having in the future especially after pretty
much going into that road for the past five years.
Speaking his mind to the media, Kuszczak stated that he believes at least next season his time
will finally come to carry the reign from United's current number one keeper, 40-years-old Edwin
Van Der Sar, who could probably playing his last season at Old Trafford.
