Manchester United are planning to sign Monaco’s highly rated midfielder, Tiemoue Bakayoko, in the summer.
According to reports from The Mirror, Jose Mourinho, the United manager, sees Bakayoko as an ideal long term replacement for Michael Carrick who is likely to leave the club after 11 years at Old Trafford.
French midfielder, Tiémoué Bakayoko, could leave AS Monaco at the end of the season. The defensive midfielder is under contract until 2019, but doubts have surfaced over his long-term future at the club.
Bakayoko has been one of the star players for Monaco this season, and has been in very good form for the Ligue 1 outfit.
Till last week, the interest in Monaco midfielder, Tiemoué Bakayoko, was limited to three heavyweight Premier League clubs – Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea. To make the transfer saga more appealing, what more can you do?
Manchester United have been heavily linked with French players over the past one week. If the widespread reports are to be believed, United are looking to bring back Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba to Old Trafford.
Pogba, who left United in 2012 on a free transfer, would cost around more than £80m.
