The Sound of Football returns for another book-end podcast and what a doozy it is too as we cover
England's horrifically spectacular 4-1 defeat to Germany.
Chris, Terry and Graham express mild optimism prior to the game, dismay at the half time score and
utter despair at the full time result.
Join us again for another edition of our increasingly popular "book-end" podcast.
This time Graham, Chris and Terry look forward to the South Africa v Uruguay game before
kick off with some confident predictions, indulge in some Sid James shenanigans at half time and
ponder the prospects of Uruguay's fortunes in the World Cup and reflect on the game's talking
points once it's all over.
Join Chris, Terry and Graham as we experience the terror of England's shambolic display against
Algeria in their second game of the World Cup with another book-end podcast.
Laugh up your sleeves at our cautious optimism before the game starts.
Guffaw at our half time anguish.
Feel our pain as we look with mute horror at the prospect of elimination from the 1st Round.
Chris, Graham and Terry return for a new podcast and it's time for another 'book-ended' edition as
we discuss the Germany v Australia game before kick-off, at half time and after the final
whistle.

(WARNING - CONTAINS SPOILERS)
The World Cup is upon us and the Sound of Football podcast is back with a bumper preview
edition.
Graham, Terry and Chris go through each group and predict who will finish first and second. Then we
predict the winners of each game in every knock out stage all the way to the Final itself which
will be won by.
Chris and Graham present The Sound of Football's first ever '3-Way Special' for the 2010 Champions
League Final.
In an innovative and possibly ill-judged move, we recorded a show before, during and after a big
game - namely the battle between Inter and Bayern at the Bernabeu Stadium.
We assessed the key players, the coaches, the tactics - in fact the whole shooting match - before
checking out some of the more amusing Twitter messages floating around on the web during the final
prior to reviewing the action after the event from Madrid.

Back with a full compliment, the chaps breath a sigh of relief now that the Premier League is
finally over. We praise Chelsea for their title victory, offer a warning to Tottenham not to get
ahead of themselves and suggest that Europa League qualifcation for Manchester City may not be a
bad thing after all.
This week, Terry recounts the traumatic events at Selhurst Park on Monday as Crystal Palace battled
to stay in the Championship, then we look at the prospects of the newly promoted clubs from the
English second tier.
After that, the chaps look at the prospects for the clubs relegated from the Premier League before
slagging off Gold and Sullivan, not for the first time it must be said.
Join us for another edition of the Sound Of Football Podcast, back after our Easter Break.
This week, Chris and Graham discuss the Champions League, Europa League, Premier League, FA Cup and
the Eurovision Song Contest.
Actually that last one's a lie, but you have to admit it's still a pretty long list of subjects,
isn't it?
This week, the chaps return to English domestic matters and discuss the title challenge at the top
of the Premier League before evaluating the tribulations of West Ham and setting up the Jimmy
Bullard fan club.
We apologise for the poor sound quality on this week's edition.
You can listen to the podcast here or if you right click on that link, you can download the MP3.
In a change to our usual programming, Graham's absence gives us an excuse to round up the comings
and goings in the Bundesliga and Ligue 1.
We very much welcome your views and ask you to contribute to the podcast. As ever, we invite you to
have a listen and let us know what you think.

place at the same time to record a show for you - and a special one at that.
This week we take a look at England's chances in the World Cup in the wake of the latest
controversy surrounding John Terry.
The latest Sound Of Football podcast is available for you to download. This week we rattle through
the FA Cup, ponder the West Ham takeover, consider the consequences of the Tevez/Neville spat and
confuse a Tottenham defender for a legendary Question Of Sport captain and we don't mean Emlyn
Hughes.
All this plus the Africa Cup Of Nations too.
Join us for another edition of the Sound Of Football podcast.
In this week's episode we heap praise on the blue of Chelsea and Everton. We heap scorn on Man
United and Liverpool before pondering the merits of backing a dark horse in the Africa Cup Of
Nations.
You can listen to the podcast here.
This week's Sound of Football is a bumper edition featuring an examination of Birmingham City's
unbeaten run, an assessment of Arsenal's championship credentials and an assassination of modern
punditry.
We then turn our attentions to Angola and the opening games in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Join us for the first Sound Of Football podcast of the new decade. This week, Graham, Terry and
Chris discuss the FA Cup 3rd Round, ask what on Earth has possessed Owen Coyle, plus a load of
other stuff too that you'd be bonkers not to hear.

The Sound Of Football is delighted to present to you Football Disaster Movie: An Onion Bag
Christmas Podcast.
Burt "Two Phones" Anderson is a top transfer newshound for Sky Sports. On the night before
Christmas he discovers that his only reliable source of insider information (the mysterious
crackpot scientist Dr Julius Limbani) has dried up and is predicting the end of the World.
With Terry experiencing technical issues, it is left to Graham and Chris to struggle through this
week's Sound Of Football podcast. Mercifully the wonderful world of football has thrown up plenty
of talking points including Spurs thrashing of Wigan 9-1, Liverpool's impending Champions League
exit/dramatic recovery and of course, there's that World Cup Qualifier to talk about.
As the last batch of teams book their reservations at next year's World Cup Finals. The gang
reflect on the drama and excitement in Moscow, Dublin and Cairo. We also ask if Portugal can
navigate their way past a tricky Bosnia team and celebrate the qualification of the All Whites.
You can listen by clicking here.
A little earlier than usual to accommodate the West Ham game tonight. This week we look back on the
high scoring Premier League weekend and marvel at the exploits of Fernando Torres and Darren
Bent.
We also take a moment to tip our hats to Wigan and their superb victory while wondering if Petr
Cech was a shade unlucky to be sent off.
The Sound Of Football Podcast returns for another edition. This week Chris Oakley and Terry
Duffelen discuss last Sunday's Manchester Derby at length. Topics of conversation range from the
madness of Rio Ferdinand, the frailties of the Man City back four, the flawed genius of Craig
Bellamy and time as a linear concept.
Just a quick post to announce that the latest edition of the Sound Of Football Podcast is available
to download.
This week we discuss Manchester United v Arsenal, Bayern v Wolfsburg and the Milan Derby.
