Fandom in the Houston sports scene is a terrifying thing. In my brief...yet painful...22 years
as a Houston sports fan, I have developed a devotion as intense as it is self-destructive. Crack
addicts have an easier time dealing with their addictions. And while my housemates have yet to find
me curled in a dark corner, I must admit that I've audibly offered favors to referees for a little
"bump".
We continue our comprehensive coverage of American soccer culture with our series "Better Know a
Supporters Group," just like Steven Colbert's "Better Know a District" from "The Colbert
Report".
Our goal: to feature each of the MLS teams' supporters groups. We've sent e-mails to each and every
SG in Major League Soccer and soon you'll be able to check all what each is all about and what
awesomeness they have to contribute to our growing American soccer world.

Get on the Bus!
The Dynamo travel to Robertson North for the last time (we'll call it something else next year)
on September 24 for a 2:00 pm game against FC Dallas.
If you signed up for season tickets with the Texian Army in 2012 before June 1, you already have
a seat on the bus and a ticket reserved for the game.
The Dynamo have begun accepting deposits for the "Supporters Section" that will be a part of the
new stadium in 2012. With space more limited in the new building, the four supporters groups will
be placed in to two sections of the lower bowl.
The price for a season ticket in the section is $250 ($450 less than a regular season ticket in
a comparable section) and represents a tremendous effort by the front office to ensure their most
audible and passionate supporters will have both space to exist in the new stadium and a section
that is designed to fit their needs.
If for some odd reason you've ever wanted to meet the guy who runs this illustrious blog, you
have your chance at the Dynamo v Union match on Saturday. During halftime, I'll be at the location
marked on the map below and I'd love to meet and put faces to names of my readers.
Part of my goal with Dynamo Theory is not only to cover the team, but to build an online
community in which Dynamo fans from across the world can interact and discuss the team.
Editor's Note: Just in case you didn't get the post title. The game was in Corpus Christi and,
CC being a medical term, we calculated how many CCs it would take to fill a pint because, well, we
like beer. 473.2 CCs to be exact. And there you have it. Nerd-dom at its finest.Meet Free Beer Movement Pale Ale 1.
