'Arry angered by sock butchery Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is said to launched a dressing room
rant at his players over their new craze for cutting the feet off their socks. Football's latest

It's no surprise that Santos' Neymar voted for himself in the recent FIFPro
Starting XI ballot form. He ranks up there with Edin Dzeko in terms of neat
handwriting, but that's not really the point here, is it?! Neymar wants to play
alongside both Ronaldo and Messi so even if he told Pep Guardiola to "take me to
Barcelona" recently (sounds like a dramatic soap opera conjured up by the Spanish
press, really) it could go either way.

This man needs to do two simple things to keep us happy and interested in him:
1. Come out in public more often.
2. Leave his gal pal at home more often.

We always joke about the extreme lengths we'd go to in order to get ourselves mixed up in a
situation such as this, but now that our lifelong dreams have come true we suddenly find ourselves
acting like gun shy prudes. Go figure.
Last Friday during their Norwegian team's practice, Stian Antonsen and Marius Berntzen
challenged their squad's veteran goalkeepers to a game of footy tennis.

Con il trionfo a Wimbledon di Novak Djokovic, completato dalla conquista della posizione numero uno

to beat the six times Wimbledon Champion Federer 3-2.
Juan Martin Del Potro showed his dis-pleasure at Wimbledon Officials by taking

Spooky tennis The Daily Telegraph's celebrity spotting team at Wimbledon have done a cracking job:
they managed to spot deceased football legend Sir Bobby Robson. The ex-England, Barcelona and
Newcastle manager sadly passed away in 2009, and yet was featured in the Telegraph's Wimbledon

Ireland's Conor Niland will end a 27 year wait for an Irish Competitor at the Wimbledon
Men's Championship tomorrow, when he plays Frenchman Adrian Mannarino withaplace against 6
times winner Roger Federer awaiting the winner in the second round of England's premier tennis

MELBOURNE, Australia The Melbourne Victory soccer club has angrily denied claims its fans are

Third seed Novak Djokovic strolled into his second Australian Open Final
beating defending Champion Roger Federer 3-0 in the Semi-Finals this morning.
Djokovic played a near perfect game to close out the match 7-6, 7-5, 6-4. He will now meet
either fifth seed Andy Murray or seventh seed David Ferrer who sent Rafael Nadal packing in the
Quarter-Finals.
World Number One Rafael Nadal crashed out of the Australian Open three sets to
nil, to his Spanish compatriot David Ferrer.
Things looked omnious for Nadal as he left the court for a lenghty Medical break after only the
third game in the first set.
However take nothing away from Ferrer injury or no injury he deserved his 6-4, 6-2, 6-3 win over
Nadal and will meet Andy Murray in the Semi-Finals.
Now we know the coverage the tennis gets, even the cricket on Free-To-Air but it was the hidden
A-League that gets the biggest crowd in Melbourne last night.
What would we get if we could increase the media coverage, fta coverage etc etc.
A-League Melbourne Victory Vs Melbourne Heart Crowd: 32,231
Twenty/20 Big Bash Victoria Vs New South Wales Crowd: 17,118
Australia Open Rod Laver Arena night session Crowd 26,000 (approx according to Channel Seven)
And I reckon the 20/20 Big Bash will soar - then die - as crowds reject the novelty.
It doesn't get much better than this! Kim Clijsters calls out commentator
Todd Woodbridge for sending text messages referencing to her as pregnant.
It went down at the Australian Open and left Woodbridge speechless! At least both of them were
able to laugh about it.
