I meant to get this up last night, but had some technical difficulties with Blogger. A day later,
there's still a lot swirling around in my head after hearing the news that Harry Keough had passed
away. Many of those swirling things are memories, which is funny because for a long time I didn't
actually realize who he was.
Paddy Bordier, Nick Cumpston and Nick Amies talk Aussie football once again this week, in
particular the A-league (just four days away!!!) the Socceroos' chances against Malaysia and Oman,
the Matildas and Paddy's boxing career; it's all here on the Nearpost.
Nick jr. has been charged with uploading the podcast this week, so feel free to attribute any and
all technical difficulties to him in your hate mail.
With all the talk in recent weeks of who needs to start, who deserves to start, and what the
priorities should be when it comes to deciding who needs and deserves to start, it seemed like the
perfect time for last week's poll to find who Liverpool Offside readers thought was the club's most
underrated player.
On the heels of Tuesday's frustrating loss, we figured it might be a good idea to lighten the
mood. And just in time, the Sounders have released another round of "Date With A Sounder" videos.
In this batch, we have Mauro Rosales, Erik Friberg, Lamar Neagle, Servando Carrasco, Taylor Graham
and Mike Seamon.
So Bob Bradley got fired. That necessitated a live edition of the American Soccer Show, complete
with the usual calls, tweets, and emails. Jason and Jared are here, along withBrian Sciaretta of
Yanks Abroad in the first part of the show to review how Bob got fired, why Bob got fired, and who
is next (we're pretty sure it's that one German guy).
Excuse the extended absence, but my internet service conveniently decided to start having some
technical difficulties on Saturday morning.
Alas, that proved to be the start of what was a forgettable day, to say the least.
I wish it wasn't so, and it's not exactly easy to think about or write about, but sometimes you
just have to see things for what they are.
Still having technical difficulties that make it difficult to post. So, here is a quick update
on SKC.
SKC lost to Seattle by giving up another injury time goal.
And SKC qualified for the US Open Cup by destroying the Revolution's mostly reserve team
5-1.
We are having some technical difficulties at the moment but I promise my review of the Galaxy
game will be up soon.
Thanks for the patience.
Apologies for the delays in this week's podcast, technical difficulties, it was recorded over this
past weekend. Thanks to Andy from The Daily Wiz for joining us this week. We discuss the Gold Cup,
Open Cup, MLS news, Sporting KC trialist and preseason moves, the Jack Jewsbury trade, and the
Missouri Comets.

Finally, the long rumored friendly was confirmed today by officials within the U.S. Soccer
organization. The Argentina match on March 26th will be the first of a pair of friendlies that
the U.S. team will host, with the second being USA v Paraguay which will be played on the 29th in
Nashville, TN.
