1. We will see a starting lineup very similar to the one used against France. The only
differences will be Michael Orozco Fiscal for Clarence Goodson
(please see prediction #3 vs. France) and DaMarcus Beasley for Danny
Williams.
IN MEMORY OF BOBBY RHINE
Sadly, long time Dallas player and staff member Bobby Rhine died of a heart on Monday while
vacationing in Florida with his family. He was just 35 years old, and was married with two
children.
Buzz Carrick who has cover Dallas from possibly day 1 directs us to a video of Bobby Rhine speaking
that Carrick feels is a great example of who Bobby was.

STARTERSThe day has finally come when Jeff Cunningham is the new MLS all time leading goal scorer. He

Vancouver has hired Carolina RailHawks head coach Martin Rennie to take over their team for next
season. Watch video of the official introductory press conference here. He will finish this season

To smell like Guardado is apparently the ideal.
Now, we know that El Tri is a big commercial success in the USA - but this article breaks it down
into more specific categories, and it's clear that emulation is a big part of the whole marketing
drive.
That said, some have already mentioned how Jurgen Klinsmann brings more glamor to team USA - does
anyone think that will translate to more sponsorship deals and business partnerships?
On the morning of May 9th, 2011 U.S. Soccer released the roster for this year's 2011 FIFA
Women's World Cup team in Germany. Who knew that a team so many "sports journalists" felt was in
disarray, could seemingly overnight turn things around. Odd that this collection of young women
transformed into a team that those same "experts" said they, "Never doubted them for a second.

Artist Gary Finkler has been so inspired by US women's goalkeeper Hope Solo's heroics in front

Team USA in a few minutes will take to the pitch facing an extremely dangerous France. Both
teams are coming off exhausting quarterfinal matches against their opponents which went to penalty
shootout. A key factor will be how well both teams rebound from those mentally and physically
challenging roller coasters.

Hope Solo goes up against Brazil today
In a short while, team USA plays what will be one of its most important matches - important
because the trope of the USA being a dominant force in women's soccer rides on how they perform in
this World Cup. The competition has seen Norway and Germany crash out, two traditional rivals of
the US and in their place France and Japan have been installed as rising powers.

The USA U17 team got blown out of the World Cup today 4-0 by Germany. It wasn't even that close. A
very sad performance.
Predictions? Give them in the comments. This has been a low-scoring World Cup so far - 2-0 USA is
my guess, and I think I'm being generous with the scoreline. To the USA, that is.
Lineups: USA - Solo; Le Peilbet, Buehler, Rampone, Krieger; Cheney, Boxx, Lloyd, O'Reilly;
Rodriguez, Wambach
North Korea - Hong; Jong, Ri Un Hyang, Ho, Song; Ri Ye Gyong, Jo, Jon, Kim; Yun, Ra
I like Rapinoe's skill on the ball, but Cheney offers more of a finishing threat, so I'd guess
Sundhage's move is to try to put more scoring punch into the lineup.

I was trying to figure out why Tim Howard sincerely believed that the Gold Cup post-game ceremony
had been conducted entirely in Spanish, and why so many English-speaking reporters didn't remember
that the master of ceremonies of the trophy presentation, Fernando Fiore, had in fact spoken both
Spanish and English throughout.

Paul Gardner of Soccer America reacts to the horrible tackles that broke the legs of 2 of MLS's

is right on the money.

Don't be surprised if this USA game in Cairo against Egypt on Feb 9 gets canceled. The political

the USA for "propping him up.
