What do our fans think of todays starting lineup?
Previously it had been announced that the first home game would be August 16th (at a
confirmed 7PM) against Communicaciones of Guatemala. The first away match was
previously announced as at Monterrey on August 23rd but at 5 PM. That match is the chance at
history, as American sides still have yet to win a competitive match in Mexico.
Change is in the air north of the border, where a fourth team and a new format make for some
intriguing action in the 2011 Nutrilite Canadian Championship, which kicks off Wednesday
evening.
With the addition of NASL side FC Edmonton, the championships have moved from a three-team,
round-robin format to a four-team, knockout stage-style tournament.
The schedule for the Philadelphia Independence 2011 campaign was released on Thursday.
Widener University's Leslie Quick Stadium, the new home of the club, will be the site of the
home opener on Saturday, April 16 at 7pm.

NORWOOD, Mass. The Boston Breakers released their 2011 WPS schedule today, with 18 dates on this
year's fixture list.
The Breakers kick off their 2011 season on the road in Atlanta, where they will play the Beat on
April 9th at 7:00pm. Eight days later, they will commence their home schedule by hosting the
expansion Western New York Flash at Harvard Stadium on April 17th, with a start time of 6:00pm.
After all the hub-bub the announcement was a little less than "major", but it was nice
none-the-less. Major League Soccer will be returning to the New York/New Jersey area for the 2011
All-Star Game. Harrison, NJ and the shiny, almost-new Red Bull Arena will host world super club TBA
on July 27th.
