Yesterday was a tumultuos day for fans of Tottenham Hotspur. First came the news that Harry
Redknapp had been cleared of charges of tax evasion and he emerged from court to a hero's welcome.
Then in the evening came the news that Fabio Capello had resigned as England manager. Redknapp of
course was instantly installed as the favourite to take over by fans, media and players alike.

Is Freddy Adu already thinking about returning to Europe?
A report from SI titled "Adu to train with Spanish club with eye on move" says Rayo Vallecano

that he comes and trains and gets to know us and the club, and we get to know him.
Two opposite results occurred for London duo, Arsenal and Chelsea on their Champions League
night as the former confirmed their passage into the next round while the Blues have to anxiously
wait and battle hard until the final day of competition.
The Gunners picked up an important victory over Borussia Dortmund at home with Robin Van Persie
once again act as the decider, while Andre Villas-Boas' team got pinned back by Bayer Leverkusen
despite taking an early lead.
Dead easy, this interviewing malarkey. Turn on the recorder, sit back, arrange the gems in some
semblance of order and there you have it. At least you do when you speak to someone with the
infectious enthusiasm of Martin Cloake. A leading authority on Spurs in print, many books written
alongside co-author Adam Powley, his ardent passion for the club as journalist and fan remains
undiminished.

All of you avert your eyes. Do not let them roam across the finely toned torsos, meticulously
muddy shorts or pleasantly shaped biceps of the Philippine Azkals. Fix them instead on that pile of
paperwork that's about to fall off your desk.

This feels like the end-scene of the horror movie as the masses walk out of the warehouse,
weary, bloodied, defeated but ultimately, victors, having withstood the onslaught and though we'll
never be the same, we live another day. That's what this Cesc saga has been: a horror film. So hug
the person next to you and shed tears for those we've lost along the way (undoubtedly several) as
we amble past the calamitous scene of emergency personnel lining the background.
Untold Arsenal on Twitter @UntoldArsenal By Walter Broeckx The questions surrounding Cesc and to a
lesser part Nasri are very important issues for Arsenal. Some supporters are ready to drive them to
the airport themselves. I can understand them for a part. After all the tapping up from his Spanish
team mates Cesc is in [.

After Arsene Wenger said that Barcelona had given up on signing Cesc Fabregas this summer, we all
thought that there was a quiet transfer window ahead regarding the tapping-up series that we seem
to see every year, but now things seem to have taken a strange turn. Yesterday Andrei Arshavin
revealed that Fabregas had given [.
Arsene Wenger had to endure a terrible summer last year with everyone Barcelona player and his dog
joining in the tapping-up games as they tried to convince Arsenal that Cesc Fabregas should return
to his spiritual home in Barcelona. During yesterday's Q&A session with journalists, Wenger was
asked if he was expecting further approaches from [.
It seems that the Arsenal players are pre-empting any tapping up off Cesc Fabregas by Barcelona
this summer, and Bacary Sagna is the latest to assure the fans that their captain will still be at
the Emirates next season. Fabregas himself implied this weekend that he was staying, and now Sagna
has told Sky Sports [.
One of the best shows since the port to BBC for the Special 1 and friends the Voyeur is
officially gold at this point.
However, not quite as good as the BBC's world class investigative journalism on the David
Beckham-Tottenham saga from last week. Diving through the trash, tapping phones and feeling the
beat of the street, they exclusively managed to get ahold of David's texts during the process.
