Toyota Builds D.C./Revs-Centric 1-Ton Tailgating Behemoth

The Offside Rules 11 November @ 04:57 PM EST
This new monster from Toyota suffers from somthing of an identity crisis as it's got D.C. colors but it's called the Midnight Rider but it's just so outlandishly baller that I'm just going to let that sh*t slide. An ode to pre-game gluttony and American automotive excess it's got "a Grill N Chill cooking space with countertops, infrared barbecue, beverage tap and an ice chest, an electronically operated tonneau cover, and a bed-installed 42-inch HDTV". The Wednesday Wonder: Aruna Dindane

Premiership Talk Blog 04 November @ 08:00 AM EST

Is there hope for Pompey? Maybe if you're an eternal optimist. I just like to think of it as something that Portsmouth fans can reminisce about next season when they are taking the Coca Cola Championship by storm. That is just where the state of Pompey football is at the moment. One 4-0 victory is not going to suddenly turn things around for the better, but for that to happen, Piquionne and Dindane are going to have to put in these types of performances week in and week out.

Do You See Where Greed Will Get You?

The Offside Rules 28 October @ 10:00 AM EST
If dude would have left this ball alone his side would have been back in the game with an equalizer. But he just had to go glory-seeking and made a hash of what by all rights should have been a tap in. This really is the equivalent of running into Paris Hilton at 3 am on a Saturday night and still going home alone. Click to continue reading...

Danang 360

Jakarta Casual 28 October @ 05:21 AM EST
Persijap v Bontang 1-0 (Edvaldo da Silva)
It was a nervy last few minutes for Persijap keeper Danang as he looked to keep his unbeaten run going for a fourth game. He punched clear a drive from Bahtiar and was rather fortunate for the ref to blow for an infringement instead of allowing Aldo Baretto's tap in to stand and deep in injury time he flung himself to his left to keep out Ali Khaddafi's header. West Ham 2-2 Arsenal : Sloppy Arsenal throw 2 points away

Arseblog 26 October @ 02:38 AM EST

After the late equaliser in the Champions League game last week the manager and a number of the players went on record saying we couldn't afford to be that sloppy again. We would have to learn from the mistake we made.

Sadly for us that lesson hasn't been learned yet and while a draw away from home isn't a bad result on paper, the circumstances of yesterday's 2-2 with West Ham make the result most frustrating.

Update: Dynamo at Chivas USA

100 Percent Soccer 25 October @ 03:25 PM EST

Chivas USA 1 Dynamo 3

Chivas USA have pulled one back eight minutes after the Dynamo made it 3-0.

Justin Braun was the creator sending over a cross to the far post that was met by Paulo Nagamura who set up Michael Lahoud for a simple tap in in the 59th minute.

Sensing an opportunity, Preki has sent in Eduardo Lillingston for Maicon Santos up front with about 30 minutes left in the game.

Southend is putting together an ambitious bid to become the UK's first ever City of Culture.

Top five conclusions England 3-0 Belarus

Off the Post 15 October @ 03:15 AM EST
1. Peter Crouch's gangly legs are not supposed to be involved in six-yard tap-ins. They were made for bicycle kicks. 2. David Beckham has brown hair, a ginger moustache and a black beard. What is that all about? 3. Twin, dwarf, right-footed wingers is probably not a viable tactical option against decent opposition. Click to continue reading...

U.S.-Honduras WCQ at Off-Campus Pub in Carson

100 Percent Soccer 07 October @ 09:17 PM EST

As far as I know this is the only English-language feed of Saturday's game (that is not on TV period, if you didn't know) in the Los Angeles area.

First I was informed this game was on at this pub, then it was off and now it's on again in part by the sound of it because the Galaxy are involved.

September Player of the Month – Robin van Persie

The Arsenal Column 02 October @ 04:00 AM EST

Robin van Persie's altruistic style has seen him become a focal point of Arsenal's attacking play by creating chances and space for others.

A brilliant, innovative and genuinely exciting arts project has hit Southend.
