Once again back is the incredible - and not just because it'll distract you all from asking me
about the transfer scenes. Ahem... Lazio's Hernanes is a bad, bad man. Memphis Depay shows all the
footwork, rodeo skills and demolition derby agility in the world to add PSV Eindhoven's insurance
tally against Groningen.
Sacha Kljestan has scored in league play in MLS and Belgium, for the U.S. men's national team

One-goal games.
It's often said that good teams prevail in one-goal games. That, somehow, whether it's squeezing
out the lone goal of a 1-0 win, or grabbing the game-winner in an offensive outburst, good teams,
more often than not, come out on top.
With SønderjyskE midfielder Conor O'Brien grabbing his side's lone goal in a 2-1 loss against
Odense BK, that brings the American strike tally to nine for the "weekend" round. His second goal
of the young season cut the away lead in half, but there was to be no complete rally. Clip search
underway.

earn the Black Cats a creditable share of the points at the Liberty Stadium.
Goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni is no stranger to finding the net, having scored more than 100 career
goals. But he's more accustomed to blasting in free-kicks and penalties at the other end of the
pitch than scoring embarrassing own goals. On this occasion the goal won't be added to his tally
after he got a punch [.
Title holders Germany are through to the next round of the U-20 Women's World Cup and boy, oh

Neymar takes his instructions to 'crush South Korea' a little too literally
Despite a brief period of early South Korean dominance and a largely crap first half, Brazil
more or less sauntered through to the Olympic final with a comfortable 3-0 win at Old Trafford
courtesy of a goal from Romulo and a second-half double from Leandro Damiao who now sits pretty at
the top of the scoring charts having taken his tournament tally to six.

DOOP. That's the Philadelphia Union fan thing. I know, I know - It's silly. They play that
horrible Doop, Doop, Doop song at their stadium, to no end, and they bombard Twitter with the #DOOP
hash-tag. I got one for you, Doop boys! Wait for it, wait for it... #COOP!!!

A slightly controversial headline today regarding Monsieur Balotelli from yours truly in
preparation for today's Euro 2012 final. This is something which has been on my mind for a while
but whether any of it is any true is entirely a different matter.
Anyway, firstly back to the game between the Germans and the assured Azzuri which was perhaps
provided one of the most surprising results of the tournament so far.
In the first half of Sunday's 1-1 draw with Seattle Sounders FC, FC Dallas midfielder Jackson
delivered another goal for his side, the equalizer after the visitors had gone ahead thanks to a
nice sequence from Seattle's Steve Zakuani and Mauro Rosales in the 20th minute. Jackson's tally
was clearly a case of him being in the right place at the right time and capitalizing on the
opportunity, something he's done quite well during his time with Dallas.

Indeed, the time has come friends for us to say our goodbyes. If you follow us on Twitter, then
you're well aware of the news. If not, then hit the jump to get informed. We're not disappearing,
just moving locations of sorts. More, after the jump:
With just three weeks to go before the start of the season, one of the most surprising aspects of
this summer is the enhanced quality of the ‘out of work' list – a roster of players that can be
pondered with increasing incredulity here. In the past, the directory was populated with the kinds
of players one might expect – journeymen who had reached the end of their shelf life and eternal
fringe performers.

appear in the Hammerhead kit at least until August 18 when Wilmington plays its last regular season
game.
