U.S. Olympic Team out of the tournament

9
Here is a link to a really good analysis by Fox Sports' Jaime Trecker of the U.S. Olympic team's performance after they lost to Nigeria and are out of the tournament. It really was an overall disappointing performance by the team. They should be looking to achieve better results at this point and I agree that its time for Peter Nowak to move on. Might not have the same impact as Abby Wambach being out of the women's team, but Nathan Sturgis is out of the Olympics with an injured hamstring. The replacement is Dax McCarty of FC Dallas.

MLS Original Players

15 Years Ago: USA 2-0 England

0

Ian Wright Challenges John Doyle/English FA archives

Fifteen years ago today in Foxboro, MA the US National Team recorded one of its most important pre World Cup 1994 victories with a 2-0 win over England. For me personally as a US Soccer supporter, this was the match that proved to both myself and other die in wool US supporters that we could compete at a high level internationally.

Let me begin by saying - this is completely based on the team as currently configured. I know April 15th is right around the corner, and 2 signings can change everything, but this is the current situation.
With that said . . .
