The boys seem to be learning our ways, Kickettes. This week they have been smoothing us over
with everything from compliments, photos of abs, and their pronunciation of the names of
diminutive English singer/songwriters.
Sylvie van der Vaart is getting her very own Barbie doll. Mattel will be releasing a series of
Barbies, which will include one to look exactly like Sylvie... if she was only about 12 inches tall
and made of plastic.
Mattel took it so seriously the worked with Sylvie's personal stylist and the doll comes complete
with minature 11 carat diamond ring and fakelashes.
Ekanga Amia of Equatorial Guinea shows the world why the Academy were so wrong to overlook him in
the Oscar shortlist. His side went on to beat Senegal 2-1 in the Africa Cup of Nations on
Wednesday.
