Don't give up the day job, Shaun It's easy to forget how far Manchester City have come in the last
couple of years. Back in 2009 they were toying with the idea of making Shaun Wright Phillips their
goalkeeper. But the diminutive winger's fledgling career between the sticks was brought to a
premature end when [.
With the warm glow of a trip to the Emirates still pervading the senses I am back at the
pre-match keyboard though having read the excellent work done by my substitutes I have much to live
up to.
Before discussing today's Derby, I would like to look back to the Wolves game. I feel we dropped
two points through a mixture of bad luck and poor management.
Back on Friday, the FA confirmed that they have charged AVB for his comments made after our defeat
at Loftus Road against QPR. The statement from the FA said:
Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has been charged with improper conduct by The FA,
following media comments he made about the match official after his side's match at Queens Park
Rangers on 23 October 2011.
There has been many times since David Luiz joined Chelsea that I have debate with people about
where his best position is. For me it's playing where he is at the back, with the game in front of
him as he reads the game really, really well.
Others have suggested to me that he should move forward into a holding midfield role as he is too
rash at the back and would be better suited with his ability with the ball at his feet and his
passing.

QPR 1-1 Blackburn Rovers Premier League October 15 2011
Blackburn Rovers registered a valuable away draw at Loftus Road, coming after two defeats on the
bounce.
Rovers captain Christopher Samba was Steve Kean's goal hero, heading home on 24 minutes to level
the scores after QPR's Icelandic striker Heidar Helguson netted his 100th goal in English football
to give the home side the lead.

Submitted for your perusal, Joey Barton leafing through Neil Warnock's autobiography 'Made In
Sheffield' ("The f**king referee's only gone an gi' 'em a penalty when the lad's gone down in the
box like a f**king Jessie. I gave 'im a piece of my nauseatingly no-nonsense Northern mind in the
tunnel afterwards.
SWP's baby seat We missed this on Friday must have clocked off but QPR sent out a search party
ahead of their match against Wolves at the weekend when Shaun Wright Phillips failed to arrive for
dinner at the hotel. Midfielder Joey Barton tweeted a photograph of the England international's
vacant monogrammed high [.

Shaun Wright-Phillips seems to like rich men and rich men seem to like Sean Wright-Phillips.
Yesterday, the under-achieving, fleet-footed stepson of Arsenal legend Ian Wright squeezed his way
out of the overcrowded Manchester City dressing room yesterday and followed the money yet again,
this time to join Premier League wealthy new-boys Queens Park Rangers.
Shaun Wright-Phillips has started the summer off with a bang. The diminutive winger made just two
Premier League starts last term under Roberto Mancini but has scored 2 goals in 2 games for the
Blues on their US Tour. Phillips' ... Continue reading →

As we saw yesterday, SWP threw down the gauntlet and instigated a Manchester City-wide planking
epidemic with the vertical door-based plank he posted on Twitter a while
back...
Micah Richards seized said gauntlet, then clambered atop a tactics board for this audacious but
sloppily-executed attempt.
My Dad's a planker and he planks all day It would be fair to say that Shaun Wright-Phillips has not
had a great couple of years. Ostracised at Manchester City, it looks as if he will move to Bolton
before the end of the transfer window. So has SWP been working hard in the gym, [...]

Huzzah! SWP has recently joined the Twittersphere and the little Ewok-sized chap has set about
using his account for the greater good by promoting and pioneering the newest fad that's apparently
sweeping the world.
That fad, my friends, is 'planking'.
The Bolton News has come out with info that Zat Knight's good friend Shaun Wright-Phillips wants
to come to good old Bolton Wanderers Football Club. With him, SWP would bring a load of questions
centering around his cost, ability, and how well he would fit into the team.
It's no secret that Shaun Wright-Phillips' wage demands are, to say the least, high.

With the transfer window just beginning to creak in the wind (of change?), we at Pies reckon
it's high time to begin speculating and hypothesising on the ins-and-out – quite literally – of
this summer's prospective transfer activity.
This week, Manchester City and Tottenham are bought before the beak.
Here at CCN we haven't got too involved with the whole transfer window nonsense. Perhaps the
recent good performances have dulled our hunger; perhaps the return of various players just make
things look a bit better.
Before the window we'd have identified the following needs:
a defender of some sort.
When you sign as many players as Manchester City has, at some point there has to be a mass
exodus as players get fed up not playing.
Yesterday defender Wayne Bridges moved to West Ham United on loan for the rest of the season and
it appears that Shaun Wright-Phillips and Roque Santa Cruz are both look set to leave Eastlands
before the end of the month.
