17 arrests for a match fixing scandal which affects 200 matches in nine European countries.
The matches include the Bundesliga second division, and the leagues in Belgium, Switzerland,
Croatia, Slovenia, Turkey, Hungary, Bosnia and Austria. 12 Europa matches and 3 CL matches are said
to be manipulated this year, and it is unclear as to whether it is the group stage or qualifying
rounds.

Yesterday ended the long and difficult road that is World Cup qualifying. The 32-team field is
set and while we won't know until next month what the groups are it does present a good time to
discuss each team and how they got there.

It was decided in today's game that Germany and Italy will be joining the ranks of other
countries who have made it into the World Cup qualifying matches. Denmark as well as Serbia can be
proud to also have the chance to play in the World Cup after beating out France. So far, the

So the first round of matches in this years Champions League games are under our belt. And what
did new learn?
- Well 11 out of the 16 games (69%) ended up in either a draw or a one goal victory. I think that
