Evra's hand moved back and to the left. Back. And to the left. Theres no way that happens
naturally. No way that happens if you're only dealing with Suarez in front of him. Which can only
mean one thing: There was a second man behind the grassy knoll. And the FA don't want you to know
about it...

The footballing world in its entirety knows what happened before and after the clash between
Manchester United and Liverpool yesterday. YouTube is a wonderful thing, isn't it? So there's not
much point repeating what happened, but in the aftermath of yesterday's events, debates have sprung
up, as they usually do, on Facebook status updates, newspaper websites, and pretty much every space
of internet brave enough to host a comments section.
- Adebayor has more assists (10) than any other striker in the league.
- Rooney has more shots per game (4.7) than any other player in the league, followed by van
Persie (4.6) then Suarez (4.3).
- Van Persie is the best striker on home turf (13), followed by Augero (11) then Rooney (9).
What an excellent day of football we all had yesterday, starting with the controversial
Manchester United, Liverpool match at Old Trafford , and a result that went our way with Liverpool
losing 2-1.
I am not so sure about all the Suarez, Evra hype though as it is obvious that there is bad blood
between the two of them, but to the credit of Evra he was willing to shake Suarez's hand before the
match, but Suarez refused.
As I am sure you are all well aware, John Terry has recently been stripped of his England
captaincy, a decision that he will not have taken lightly, but the question poses, were the FA
right to do this? We saw how they dealt rather quickly and authoritatively with the Suarez-Evra
debacle, yet they have [.
Time to upgrade his statue to silver
If you're a Arsenal fan today, you'll be buzzing. Nothing beats coming from behind and winning
by scoring in the final minute of the game. Especially when it's an away game and we weren't firing
on all cylinders. Especially when the winning goal was scored by one of the club's greatest ever
player.

Police have confirmed that the confiscated all of the copies of the United fanzine, Red Issue,
that were floating around outside Old Trafford today which featured cut-out 'Suarez Is Innocent' Ku
Klux Klan masks for United fans to hold in front of their faces to bait Liverpool as the teams
emerged from the tunnel.

Merely 'celebrating with his own fans' or goading Liverpool and Suarez as they/he made his way
down the tunnel? Make your own minds up what Paddy was playing at come the final whistle.
I'm pretty sure I know what he had in mind.
Manchester United – Liverpool FC; the very thought of it strikes every chord of passion
amongst either set of fans. This particular derby has often failed to exhibit the mesmerising
displays of copacetic football expected by the neutrals across the globe. The contest which is
often decided by individual bravura is widely described as ‘pixelated' around the world.
Another huge weekend as the race at the top tightens and the England managerial role remains
vacant. Let's focus on club over country for now, though, and preview this week's best potential
fantasy performers... I. Liverpool @ Manchester United: Huge. ... Continue reading →
Some players want to leave, Arsenal will be going places this summer, the English NT is filled
with jerks... your usual cup of Arse here at the Offside
We start today's blog with a subject Arsenal fans are always delighted to hear about: player
departures. Park Chu-Young has indicated that if keeps getting ignored for play action, he might
leave in the summer.
We have seen how Liverpool suffered this season without any pace and creativity from midfield.
Dalglish's preferred midfield foursome of Downing, Adam, Gerrard and Lucas will pass the ball to
death but neither is comfortable to run with the ball.
Against teams that park the bus, especially teams that come to Anfield, the lack of
unpredictability in the Liverpool play has caused the mighty Reds dearly.
Controversy is seemingly never far away when it comes to Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, and during
the recent Spurs game, he was booked for a dangerous kick on Scott Parker. After the game, Man
United thug Wayne Rooted tweeted that Suarez should've been sent off, and I'm sure there are people
out there that share that view.
Luis Suarez's return to action against Spurs last night was not enough to inspire Liverpool to
victory, but once again, the Uruguayan sparked a major talking point. This time, Suarez kicked
Scott Parker when trying to get the ball, and received a yellow card for his trouble. Any
fair-minded person can see that it was clearly accidental, but as all Liverpool fans know,
Manchester United thug
Luis Suarez is back for Liverpool, and most fans will be hoping that he goes straight back into the
starting line-up to face Spurs tonight. Is that going to happen though? Liverpool are in a great
run of form, and is breaking up a winning team the best thing to do at this stage? For Liverpool
legend Steve Nicol, it's not even up for debate: Suarez must start.
Over the weekend, Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish publicly praised returning striker Luis Suarez,
gushing that he is 'loved and revered' at Anfield. Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher aside, the
last non-Liverpudlian player to receive such acclaim and adulation was (arguably) Fernando Torres,
but legend Alan Hansen believes that Suarez has now eclipsed the Spaniard's popularity.

Ahead of the Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur match on Monday night, we look at the return of
Luis Suárez and how Liverpool have fared in the Premier League in his absence.
Luis Suárez returns to the Liverpool squad for Monday night's game at home to
Tottenham Hotspur following a much publicised eight-game suspension.
With the return of Luis Suarez to the Liverpool on Monday night, having served his mammoth ban from
football, reports are that Manager Kenny Dalglish will opt to unleash the talismatic Uraguyan
striker from the bench.
Monday night's game from Anfield will see Liverpool pit their wits against 3rd-placed Spurs who are
something like 12 points ahead of Liverpool in the Premier League.

Dalglish would relish a win on Saturday...The FA Cup has brought
Liverpool a massive clash on Saturday as Manchester United make the short trip to Anfield. This is
the first meeting between the two sides since the Suarez and Evra case, here's hoping both sets of
fans act responsibly, focus on the football and provide a fantastic atmosphere.
Sacha Kljestan took his regular place in the starting eleven for Anderlecht on Tuesday, in a 3-1
win over Gent at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium. Their lead at the top of the SAS-Ligaen table
is now nine points. After falling behind seven minutes in, Milan Jovanovic scored twice for
Anderlecht, with Matias Suarez adding the third goal.
Former Newcastle and West Ham goalkeeper Shaka Hislop believes that Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe
would be the perfect strike-partner for Luis Suarez, but expects Liverpool to have a tough time
convincing Harry Redknapp to let him go. Analysing Liverpool's goalscoring problems on ESPN
yesterday, Hislop enthused:"I think Jermain Defoe would make a fantastic partner for Suarez when he
comes back.
While I still think overall Liverpool have played some good pass and move football this season.
Our main issue is we just don't have a clinical finisher, that player who will score 25+ goals in
a season.
£35 million really should have bought us the perfect player for this position. But Carroll is
really under porforming and just looks out of place at the moment.
I wish I could furnish you today with news of multiple transfers, but alas I live in the real
world. There is very little out there to report.
Looking through this list on Football 365, you realise that we're not alone. There is very little
movement happening anywhere in the prem, even at Man City.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is currently kicking his heels on the sidelines as he serves his
8-match ban, but whilst he's out, he will have plenty of opportunities to watch Steven Gerrard in
action, a player he described yesterday as a 'fantastic player'. Speaking to Goal.com, Suarez was
full of praise for Liverpool's captain, who has now scored three goals in his last three
games:"Steven is a
Luis Suarez and Lucas Leiva couldn't take part in Liverpool's hard-fought victory Carling Cup over

an 8-match ban - sent his best wishes to the team via twitter:"All the luck in the world for my
When it comes to blunt, outspoken support for Liverpool's Luis Suarez, Brighton manager and fellow
Uruguayan Gustavo Poyet has been El Pistolero's most passionate advocate, but he may be about to

8 games, Poyet rubbished the decision and called it 'Incredible, shocking and disproportionate',

Now that the transfer window is open, I thought it was time to take a quick look at how Premier
League clubs have been performing on various dimensions. Let's start with offense for today. Which
clubs have been doing exceptionally well, and which ones seem to need some help, perhaps by finding
a player or two?
Last week, Liverpool FC begrudgingly accepted Luis Suarez's 8 match ban for using 'insulting words
which included a reference to Patrice Evra's colour', and many fans will be hoping that this means
an end to the club's (arguably) misguided public announcements on the issue. However, Liverpool
legend Mark Lawrenson has revealed that the club is still 'very unhappy', and may pursue the issue

Liverpool have been drawn to play Manchester United in the FA Cup on the weekend of the 28-29th
of January.
This match promises to be an intense battle and it will be interesting to see what kind of
response Patrice Evra receives from the Liverpool Fans and players. As it will be the first time
the two teams meet since the October 15 show down when Patrice Evra accused Luis Suarez of racially
abusing him.
Porto's Alvaro Pereira has warned Manchester United defender Patrice Evra that he will be a marked
man when France play Uruguay in a friendly later in the year.Pereira, who plays alongside Luis
Suarez in the Uruguay national team, recently accused Evra of having an 'inferiority complex'; now,
he's made it clear that the left-back will have to watch his back in what is primed to be an
A few weeks ago, this site exclusively revealed the close links between Denis Smith - a member the
Suarez-Evra 'Independent' Regulatory Commission (IRC) - and Manchester United, specifically his
ties to Darren Ferguson. Despite the obvious potential for subconscious bias, Liverpool's Solicitor
did not request Smith's removal from the panel.
Anfield Rd: The FA respond to some questions
AN EMAIL was sent to The FA following on from the publication of their independent panel's
report into the verdict in the Suarez-Evra case. It's taken them a few days but they have now
replied. On reading the email it's apparent that they received more than one email on the issue
– their response includes answers to questions we hadn't even asked.
In this week's review of the footballing action, we congratulate Manchester City, wonder how long
Ronaldo will be out after picking up a nasty illness and spotlight Liverpool's controversial
defence of their banned Uruguayan striker, Suarez.
