What caught my attention recently is the name of the stadium that is hosting a game that I am
watching at the moment of Peru vs. Colombia game in Cordoba Province, it is Mario Kempes
Stadium.
I thought that it is very interesting and a great way of honoring the legendary players by naming
stadiums after them, may be more touching than building a statue like Eusebio or giving "Sir" title
like that of Bobby Charlton or Alex Ferguson.
DOHA, Qatar Qatar has welcomed an investigation into alleged corruption in its victorious 2022
World Cup bid. The 2022 host nation said the evidence put forward so far was false, unsubstantiated
and coming from a whisteblower who is probably a former employee "with a significant axe to grind."
Qatar has been on the defensive [.
Cristiano Ronaldo made a history today when he scored twice in an 8-1 victory for Real Madrid vs.
Almeria. He became the first ever player to score 40 goals in the La Liga history in a single
season. I am not a big fan of Cristiano, but I have to admit respecting his wonderful skills and
abilities. He scored 40 goals out of 102 goals for Real in the La Liga, this is just overwhelming
impressive.

LONDON, England A British soccer player is suing Twitter over information published on the

I came to Calcutta on a whim. Time off from school, traveling and volunteering in India—one
version of the American collegiate dream. I chose Calcutta, the sprawling metropolis of over
fifteen million people, on the recommendation of a friend.
When I saw this video and saw it is about Boca Juniors, I thought this should be at one of the
craziest and most passionate places on the planet of football, in Argentina. I directly recalled
clips showing 1978 World Cup finals and the "paper rain" from the fans. I thought it must be one of
the most crazy derbies or Libertadores finals.
Super Star title in the world of football should not be used a lot, and in my opinion, should be
given very conservatively with players such as Platini, Cruyff, Zidane, Ronaldo1, Beckenbauer,
Bobby Charlton .......
Messi at the age of 23, going to another country for the intention of playing against their team,
but then missing the game because of light injury, and still ending up by a hero, with so many
people asking for his autograph.
The way that Klaus Augenthaler left the green fields can be a very good story for a light drama
movie. The guy who had great career with Bayern Munich, which was his club since he was 18 years
old till he retired at 1991. He had only 27 appearances with the national team in 7 years, but
really very valuable 27 caps (the quality, not the quantity).
This is a very inspiring video to watch, not just for football passion, but for life in general. It
is the story of Panyee FC in Southern of Thailand which is considered one of the most successful
club there.
No, it was not Maradona who said that, it was not Pele or Zidane too. It was not even Romario or
Hugo Sanchez. It was Hugo Rodallega from Colombia. "but the big difference is that he plays for
Barcelona and I play for Quindio".
Hugo comment today sounds not just arrogant or unrealistic, but funny too.
Abidal surgery to remove his liver tumour few days is becoming a great story for Fair Play. Abidal
himself is in very good spirit after all of the support that he got, not only from his teammates
and fans around the world, but from Barcelona biggest rival, Real Madrid.
This video was shown on Camp Nuo screen before Barcelona Getafe game last Saturday
it is interesting to watch the same video from camera fan
ًWhat was even more interesting what Real Madrid did last Wednesday after their game vs.

January 27, 2011 North American Soccer League (NASL) FC Edmonton EDMONTON, AB. It's been five
months since their last competitive match against Miami FC of the NASL, and even that was a

ROTTERDAM The agony of Feyenoord Rotterdam does not end. Today, a new chapter was added to the

I could not find a better picture to represent the conditions of the Saudi football today better
than this one
Saudi Arabia officially was the first team to exit Asian Cup 2011 after two defeats from Syria 1-2
and Jordan 0-1. It is not a big issue to lose a game or two, but, the way Saudi lost and the whole
set-up of the team and the journey this team has taken since 1994 World Cup till today, is the real
issue.
