Why I think United will have too much class for City today
Manchester is certainly the place to be – this afternoon's 160th derby is the most
eagerly-awaited clash for decades – and the city's very own Stone Roses sold out their reunion
gigs for 2012 in an amazing 14 minutes.
It's been a big week for Manchester. First of all the Manchester Egg was, thanks to the Food and
Drink festival, brought to the wider audience it deserved, smashing out of the cult snack niche in
to mainstream acceptance, and in doing so being treated with the same sort of awestruck reverence
that greeted Marty McFly's guitar playing at the Enchantment Under The Sea Dance.

Since last we spoke, tyrannical dictators have fallen, The Stone Roses have reformed and The
Arsenal have enjoyed two hard earned, late victories. Carlsberg don't do weeks, but if they did,
they'd probably taste like watered down, fizzy piss. There's been nothing unsatisfying or
indigestible about either of our victories however.
