szólj hozzá: Man Utd v Wolves 4:1 HIGHLIGHT
Wayne Rooney scores his first goal since Occupy Wall Street which happened last century. For
Utd, Wolves were the perfect antidote to the stench enveloping Old Trafford in the wake of their
ignominious exit from the CL this week. They're keeping it close with City who face Chelsea this
Monday in a huge match.
By Clemente Lisi - LOS ANGELES, CA (Dec 5, 2011) US Soccer Players -- The stench of beer filled the
air in the Los Angeles Galaxy's locker room after the players had spent a good chunk of its MLS Cup
postgame party spraying one another with bottles of Bud. After the game, the players left the Home
Depot Center and partied the night away at the Staples Center in downtown LA.
While you wait for the editors at SI.com to post the Week 22 MLS review (with Team of the Week
and Power Rankings), let's take a moment to update a list we all like to watch. We like to watch it
the same we can't help but stare at automobile accidents on the shoulder of the road. We all have a
dark side; what can we say?
Arsenal fans channel Jack Nicholson to yet another Cesc Fabregas story
The neverending Fabregas saga (TM) which so far has enveloped everyone in a stench so
overpowering that Pepe Le Pew just dove off a bridge seems to have yet more twists.
Amongst them is now the distinct possibility that Cesc Fabregas might feature in Arsenal's last
pre-season game against Benfica this weekend.
Jack Warner sat in a corner, eating bribes and hey ......
A five figure annual pension for the rest of his life given by FIFA. Not to mention FIFA dropped
their investigation after his resignation. He also gave the finger to former FBI chief Louis
Freeh's investigation into the alleged CFU votes for cash bribery case which led to Mohammed Bin
Hammam being suspended from all football related activities.
A man's errors are his portals of discovery
One by one they walked off, the golden generation. Jermain Defoe shirtless; Joe Cole man of a match
he would never wish to remember; Paolo Di Canio staring straight ahead, perhaps contemplating his
pledge to commit suicide if West Ham were relegated.
It hasn't exactly been the best week in Seattle Sounders land, and the atmosphere around this
team has hardly been one of a team riding a 5-match unbeaten streak. For starters, the stench of
the 1 point in three played start perhaps hasn't completely worn off; it is fair to say that the
Sounders left 3 points on the pitch - a draw against the Los Angeles Galaxy and a win against the
Houston Dynamo seemed the minimum that should've been accomplished given how those games played out
- and last week's otherwise positive result of 3 points on the road against the Colorado Rapids,
the defending Cup winners, was utterly overwhelmed by the negativity of not only the loss of Steve
Zakuani, but the feeling of many that the team lacked attacking initiative despite being up a man
nearly the entire match.
I'm going to keep this mercifully brief, or at least I'll try. Why brief? Well, I could pretty much
point you to a couple dozen match reaction posts from last year that would sound almost word for
word what I'm going to say here. Defenders who didn't appear to speak the same language? Check.
Lots of possession but no idea what to do with it?

Roy Hodgson probably felt he couldn't turn the Liverpool job down. If his success at Fulham
brought him the respect in England he had long craved, success at Liverpool would finally establish
his credentials as one of the game's top managers. He couldn't say no.
Have you ever gone into the cubicle at work and found that someone before you has left an
almighty stench?
