If you really fancy a giggle then have a read of Stan Collymore's column in the Mirror. Now I would
never claim to be the brains of Britain but this fella takes the biscuit.
He changes his mind more than I change my socks. And I do that at least four times a week.
Every week I look forward to reading his column because he makes me laugh.

"Rio Ferdinand has been in poor form this season by his standards and I think Sir Alex
Ferguson would be shrewd to cash in on the star in January."
Stan Collymore couldn't be a bigger prick if he tried.
"I don't want to play United in the knockout rounds they're a very strong team and I have
many friends there.

Anfield Talk 29 September @ 02:43 PM EST
The former Liverpool and Aston Villa striker Stan Collymore believes his former club are more
reliant than ever on Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres, following the sale of Xabi Alonso to Real
Madrid.
Collymore acknowledges the aforementioned two as world class performers but suggests the club is
too reliant on their abilities, and will struggle away from Anfield.

Knee-jerk reactions are increasingly common in the modern game. It seems you are either a world
beater or a no-hoper; the middle ground has never been smaller.
After the opening weekend defeat at Spurs, critics were queuing up to claim Liverpool would be
consigned to a season of struggle without "lynchpin" Xabi Alonso.

Anfield Talk 21 September @ 11:13 AM EST
The former Aston Villa and Liverpool striker Stan Collymore believes his former Anfield teammate
Jamie Carragher is on the wane, and Rafa Benitez should begin to consider replacing him.
Carragher has endured a troubled start to the Premier League season looking vulnerable during their
defeats to Aston Villa and Tottenham, whilst also being culpable at Upton Park against West Ham on
Saturday, and Collymore believes the defender is beginning to look past his best.

Last year you could argue that with West Brom, Stoke and Hull were the favorites to go down,
however Newcastle and Middlesbrough filled their places. Were they too good to go down? Maybe, but
there are 10 good teams above these two, who made a hash of it even more.

They say the second season is the most tricky for a newly promoted club.

I thought I would leave todays post a little later. There have been two main responses to our
lack of action in the transfer market yesterday, the 'OH MY GOD WE ARE SCREWED' reaction, and the
'oh well there is nothing we can do about it now' reaction.
Mine is of the latter, the only player I think we needed was cover for Alex Song for if he got
injured and when he is on ACN duty with Cameroon.

The 4-4 draw with Arsenal was admittedly a hammer blow for Liverpool's title chances...but who
cares when the game was so exciting! Certainly not me. I'd rather watch that kind of game every
week and never win anything that play negatively and win the league every year.
Yes, that sounds ridiculous but it's how I really feel.

It makes me laugh to read 'expert' punditry from the likes of Stan Collymore, Mark Lawrenson and
their muggy mates.
All season long they have stuck a knife into Arsenal's back and twisted it more than a game of
twister. They wrote us off more than a written off car. Wankers.
When it seemed that Arsenal would struggle to finish in the top four they all jumped on the
'Arsenal are finished' bandwagon.

This morning I came across an article by Stan Collymore on Sir Alex Ferguson with the title:
Stan the man: FERGUSON JUST DOESN'T KNOW WHEN TO SHUT UP.
I read the article and basically what he is saying is that just because Sir Alex is manager of
Manchester United it doesn't mean that it entitles him to dictate to the FA about the running of
the game.
