Saw this photo over at Stadium Porn. Good gravy this one looks nice. The inside may not have the
bells and whistles that LIVESTRONG Sporting Park or Red Bull Arena have but I do believe this one
will go right in line with the rest of the new(ish) stadiums in MLS.

Hey, hey, hey. Another Major League Soccer club is close to putting shovels in the ground and
building a brand new facility to call their own. CenterLineSoccer is reporting that the San Jose
Earthquakes' proposed new stadium has gone through the neighborhood scrutiny and could be on their
way to getting this facility built.
BC Place is getting awfully close to opening up again in Vancouver. I noticed this post over at
stadiumporn.com (awesome name btw). The light panels on the outside of the stadium are pretty
sweet. And that roof. Wowzers.
A little stadium pOrn for you today. Today's edition comes from Montreal where Stade Saputo (or
Saputo Stadium) gets a little digital love with their virtual site.
Its a cool little stadium, something that will work nicely in MLS. Nothing overly sexy about it
but one that I kind of like. It's the simple little things I suppose that work with this.
For those still wondering when the Vancouver Whitecaps would end up in their real home, BC
Place. The club has released this little video to show you all that they aren't that far away. I
have to say the retractable roof concept there seems pretty cool.

This has been a hot-topic really since day one for Chivas USA, playing in the Home Depot Center.
Most fans would love to see them get their own place which in a way would make the SuperClasico
rivalry with the LA Galaxy even better in my eyes.

bigger.

three-phase process, the first to increase seating from 18,500 to 20,000.

I know we're a year away from seeing the Montreal Impact enter Major League Soccer but it isn't
too soon to talk about their on-going stadium expansion. The club posted these photos today on
their website, showing off the latest renderings and models of the expanded Saputo Stadium.
According to the club, more than 7,000 seats will be added to the current stadium: 3,500 seats
in a new West grandstand, 1,250 additional seats in the Southeast and Southwest grandstands
(corners), as well as 1,000 additional seats in the East grandstand.

Here is something you don't always see in a stadium naming rights agreement. Today, Sporting
Kansas City reached an agreement with the LIVESTRONG Foundation for the naming
rights of Sporting's new soccer stadium that is slated to open this June.
The dream is finally becoming a reality in Houston. Shovels will go into the ground this weekend
on a brand new stadium that will become the new home of the Houston Dynamo. The Dynamo have been
working long and hard on getting this project to become a reality after leaving San Jose for the
reasons of not being able to land a stadium.
