After that emphatic drubbing of Blackburn Rovers, Arsenal face a tricky trip to the Stadium of

Fraser Campbell and Stephane Sessegnon score two wonderful goals as Sunderland beat Norwich 3-0 at
the Stadium of Light tonight.
Fraize the Lord Football has taken something of a battering recently. The actions of a racist moron
at Anfield yesterday brought the game into disrepute, and this goes alongside players being fined
and suspended from clubs for homophobic abuse on Twitter. However, today at the Stadium of Light
was a moment to genuinely savour, making [.

Sunderland set to gain a Brucey bonus? We live at a time in which constant improvements are deemed
necessities. More reliable cars, faster computers, cheaper travel. And football, as with so many of
our national traits, displays these demands palpably. After promotion we expect survival. After
survival consolidation.

It seemed a foregone conclusion that England Under-21 international Connor Wickham was heading
to Anfield this season. Liverpool had been linked with Wickham for months, but while they haggled
over his price with Ipswich, Steve Bruce swooped in and grabbed the Ipswich striker for a fee in
the region of£8.
Damien Comolli has confirmed that Liverpool have given David Ngog permission to speak to
Sunderland about a possible transfer to the Stadium of Light.

Let me first say that I'm delighted. The first back-to-back victory for Wolves this season and it
came at exactly the right time. This was also the first win for manager McCarthy at the Stadium of

didn't play well [.

It was only 24 hours ago when I logged onto my Twitter to be greeted with the message ‘How do
you feel about Bent going to Villa Claire?'
WTF? Darren Bent going to Villa? OUR Darren Bent? It may as well have read ‘how do you feel
about molesting small children Claire?!'
I didn't see it coming and it sure as hell looked like I was the only one who didn't.
Darren Bent must know something we don't know. The man has requested to be put on the transfer
list to force a move from Sunderland to Aston Villa, with the Black Cats ‘reluctantly' accepting
a bid of an initial £18m rising to as much as £24m depending on his performance. Why would a
player who has had such success with a squad that is knocking on the door to the European spots
want to move to a club who have arguably performed the worst of any side in the Premier League this
season relative to their stature?
Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has urged the authorities to issue a lengthy ban to the supporter who
