strong>It's been reported that Newcastle have agreed to bring in Ampersand, a Liverpool-based marketing agency, in order to push for new sponsorship. One for introducing Marcus Bentley's dulcet Big Brother tone into your head and secondly for perhaps once again putting the cat amongst the pigeons on a sensitive and potentially divisive topic. Newcastle United 3 Peterboro 1

A Newcastle United Blog | Howay the Toon 08 November @ 03:24 PM EST

As voices of discontent gathered at the back of the Milburn stand before the game, they were equally as vociferous in their support for their team once they got inside the ground. The second largest attendance of the day (43,067) certainly made their feelings known.

The Newcastle fans had something to shout about other than the owner as Jonas Gutierrez ran from the halfway, and finished with a shot that went past 'Keeper Joe Lewis.

Newcastle United Blog - NUFC news, blogs and debate. 06 November @ 05:43 AM EST
Chris Hughton has asked Newcastle United fans to put their disagreements with the board behind them and support the team. Newcastle United Blog - NUFC news, blogs and debate. 06 November @ 02:32 AM EST
With an average attendance of 48,750 last season, Newcastle United are the 18th best supported team in Europe. In England only Manchester United, who top the whole league, and Arsenal manage to beat Newcastle's average attendance, although Celtic managed 9th and Rangers managed 16th. Given the mess we were in last season and the fact that there [. Click to continue reading...

Indeed, many very strong views have been expressed already, including in this 'blog. Petitions have been prepared, there have been rumblings of more [. Click to continue reading...
