LLTO Picks of the Week

La Liga Report 07 November @ 06:04 AM EST

Call me crazy (because I am), but despite Tenerife loss last week to Villarreal 5-0 I still think the new boys will win this weekend. Why you ask? Because although Tenerife looked horrid last week this week they get to play Malaga who in nine games has lost seven. Malaga is in last place and Tenerife sits just outside the relegation zone.

It was a rare week in La Liga becasue Barca did not win. Don't get too excited because they did not lose either. But you have to hand it to Osasuna. They have played as well as anyone recently and they gave the treble winners a battle 1-1 leaving the door open for clubs to move up the board a few points.

LLTO La Liga Matches of the Week (Oct. 31-Nov.1)

La Liga Report 30 October @ 06:49 AM EST

Real Madrid-Getafe

What is going on with Real Madrid? With three losses in their last five matches I guess they really do miss this Cristiano Ronaldo guy. Real will look to bounce back from their terrible loss earlier in the week to a squad I have never heard of, Alcorcon, but if Real Madrid continues to play like they did against this third tier squad then it could feel a lot longer then a few weeks without their key star player.

LLTO La Liga Picks of the Week (Oct. 17)

La Liga Report 17 October @ 03:42 PM EST

The Yank is off to a fairly mediocre start this La Liga season in weekly picks and currently sits at 24-14 on the year. Of course Real Madrid losing a few weeks back likely gave many critics at least one loss and the Yank only missed two games completely and got five correct. So things are beginning to look up this La Liga season.
