Japan are in South Africa for a friendly on Saturday and while they're not going to the lengths
that Germany are falsely rumored to be for the World Cup, they are taking precautions that are a
bit worrisome for a country about to host one of the world's biggest sporting events.
Team media director Ichirota Fukushi tells The AP:
"The players are free to go to the beach in front of the hotel, but we've told them not to go

Sir Alex Ferguson made some scathing remarks about an official after a recent ManU match. I'm
not going to repeat the remarks or even the official's name (because I don't think it's worth it.)Â
The crux of the matter was :Â Sir Alex thought that the official wasn't "in shape" to referee a
Soccer match of that caliber.

You know, soccer, there are codes of conduct in this world. One of them is that if you want to
end a relationship with someone you supposedly care about, you deal with them honestly. You don't

Yesterday the always biting Field of Schemes linked to Wright Thompson's experience in the absurd

This past weekend, I made it to another football stadium, this one Parc des Princes in Paris,
France. The match was perhaps the biggest of the weekend in Ligue Un as Paris St.-Germain hosted
Olympique Lyon.
I purchased the ticket a few months ago, as soon as the schedule was released, and had to pick
up the ticket from the French equivalent of a will call window.

Wendy Parker decides to take a crack at the WPS issues we've all been talking about:
But demanding that a fledging league like WPS shoulder the burden of advancing such
things like an anti-rape movement is absurd. WPS has had enough difficulty launching during a
recession, experiencing lower-than-expected attendance figures and attracting corporate
donors.

FIRSTLY apologies for the lateness of this post. FP was up all night watching the Champions League

Happy to report though, that my time wasn't wasted and, thanks to two pieces of luck, Arsenal got

With the recent news of England's successful Rugby World Cup bid, it would appear that another
part of what is fast becoming known as ‘The Golden Decade of Sport' has fallen into place. The
thought of an Olympic Games and RWC may be enough to excite most sports fans, but for many the big
one is still the 2018 Football World Cup bid.

On Sunday I went to the final round of matches in Group C at the University of Phoenix Stadium in

football, college basketball, and soccer), and I participated in a behind-the-scenes tour of the
stadium last year, so I've seen the UP stadium from a variety of perspectives.

A guide to football betting describes how you can use vital statistics to predict the outcome of
