A new US based magazine has been published on stadiums and is based around the website Stadium
Journey which gives fans reviews of stadiums and game day experiences. The website was set up a
couple of years ago by Paul Swaney who is based is Ann Arbor, Michigan and the following paragraph
is taken from the site itself:
"Stadium Journey is a web venture with the goal to become a world-class community resource for
sports fans, built around optimizing the experience of attending live sporting events.

Post by Pedro Gomes- Most of us remember the after school PSA commercial about drugs that
ended with one kid asking another, "What are you chicken?" and the other replying with "I'm not a
chicken, you're a Turkey." Then turns away from the peer-pressuring dope dealer and walks off
triumphantly.
Neil Blackmon waxes on what may be the end of the Arsene Era dawning.
For Wenger, a Champion's League moment--finally--that didn't disappoint.
One of the things that makes sport so compelling is that while, in the end, sporting events are
contrived events whose results have little effect on the day-to-day tasks and responsibilities of
our lives we often see within sport little reflections of the day-to-day life lessons as well as
the over-arching lessons of.
Sporting events and commentary go in hand in hand with each other. How odd would it be to watch
a soccer, football, and baseball or hockey game without someone offering analysis and play by play
action of the game? As a fan of several sports I have been subjected to many announcers in games;
some good and some that weren't so good.
WORLD CUP WATCH PARTY
The Brew Top Pub & Patio and Missouri Comets of the MISL will host a party to watch US Women in
Semi-Finals
So if you are looking for somewhere to watch the Women's World Cup game in Missouri, join the
Comets and Brew Top Pub & Patio of Lee's Summit. The US Women's team has captured the hearts of the
nation after their gutsy performance in their come-from-behind victory over Brazil.
Celtic Football Club have announced a new partnership with online betting firm BETDAQ who will work
with the club to offer supporters the best odds on matches and a range of sporting events.
I was going to maintain "radio silence" about the men's game but then I heard about Tim Howard's
rant regarding the Gold Cup ceremony. Hosted by Univision's Fernando Fiore, the trophy award was
conducted in Spanish except for that portion honoring the US team.
Such a thing should be relatively uncontroversial: Los Angeles is a multi-lingual city and the vast
majority of people in the stands understand Spanish.
What's that you say? How is a 1-0 win ugly? Well, if you watched the game, the US was able to
pull out the win, but most USMNT fans will tell you the performance was a bit disappointing. Panama
shocked everyone by winning group C. Yeah, that's right: if you put money down at the local sports
book on Panama, you might want to go collect your winnings.
Back in 2009 we had a brief chat with Soccernomics author Simon Kuper. The book was first
published in October, 2009 and continues to cited in soccer circles. Soccernomics
combines economics and soccer to provide an interesting look into the use of data in sports and
takes direct aim at some of the longest held beliefs of fans and soccer managers about the
evaluation of players.
"We don't want a bunch of traveling supporters. As soon as we open up the whole building, it's a
free for all. So obviously when we open our whole building up it's a lot different than when
Vancouver and Portland open up their whole buildings, because their buildings hold 18,000 and
20,000. We want home games.
Value is a relative concept, and it is all the more so in the case of sporting events. In recent
times, for example, the standard fall-back position for those that defend the increasingly
extortionate prices that many football clubs now charge for season tickets has been the size of the
waiting list for season tickets at their club.
You surely already got the bad news from Guatemala, but now we have U-20 highlights and reactions.
Regulars here will know that the U-20 World Cup is one of my top favorites of all sporting events
and I must admit to being crushed when I woke to find that our boys had come up short. Big. Fat.
Ugh.- Greg Seltzer
That's a 4th consecutive 2-0 victory for France in Euro 2012 qualifying. They started like
this:
Benzema
Malouda Nasri(c) Ribery
M'Vila Gourcuff
Evra Mexes Rami Sagna
Lloris
Some of the other players who we might have seen instead of Ribery and Evra, who missed out
either through injury or the manager's preference, include Valbuena, Menez, Alou Diarra, Clichy,
Diaby, Hoarau, and Abidal.
MELBOURNE, Australia The Melbourne Victory soccer club has angrily denied claims its fans are
violent, amid criticisms from police and the state government. A senior Victorian policeman on
Friday said members of the force were reluctant to volunteer to work at Melbourne Victory soccer
matches because of violence among the team's supporters.
LONDON — Tickets for this season's Champions League final at Wembley will be the most expensive
in history, UEFA confirmed Thursday as officials revealed sharp price hikes for entry to the
football showpiece. While the cheapest tickets sold via allocations to clubs will be 80 pounds (129
dollars/95 euros), the cheapest on general sale "category [.
I don't hate football anymore. That's a big step for me; I used to actively loathe the game, and
would be vocal about that whenever possible. In my mind, a man could have only been a fan of one
football, and I was an adamant supporter of what was clearly the farer game. Now, of course, things
are slightly different, as while it would take a strong effort to care any less about football, my
feelings have shifted more towards a content indifference.
In exactly 18 months, the vibrant city of London will be host to one of the most highly awaited
sporting events in the form of the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Footballers in England are already doing there part in promoting the showpiece event.
We have already seen David Beckham hanging out in the Olympic Stadium to show his
excitement.
Imagine the scene. It's June 2018 and the World Cup finals are getting under way. England, the
hosts, have played their opening match an unconvincing 1-1 draw with Norway which has led the press
to question the tactics of their manager, Lord Beckham of Leytonstone but optimism is still high.
The nation settles down for the second game, being played between the two other teams in England's
group.
