We all know that Brazilians are proud to have won the World Cup five times.
Because nicknames are.... bad names, yeah? Footballers are often an unintelligent bunch, but
occasionally they have sparks of innovation and create amusing nicknamesfor their peers. When this
is cobined with the dry humour of fans and pundits, the results are impressive. Here are ten of the
best from the Premier League: 10.
Not a great win, but a win just the same. If we want to have any hope of reclaiming the league
trophy, we need to win these games where we aren't playing so well. And this time, we did.
Well, the first half was dire. Utterly awful. Especially our passing. It was that awful passing
that helped contribute to the West Brom goal Ramires sent a light pass toward Alex, who didn't move
toward it and thus got bullied off the ball.

In which Dinamo Bucharest winger Elis Bakaj is forced to dodge a spiralling firework that was
thrown onto the pitch from the stands during last night's Romanian Cup final showdown against
Steaua...
Despite very nearly being blinded by flying sparks, Bakaj still manages to get the cross in what
a pro!
... or, as Jet Age aerial ace Rocket J. Squirrel used to say: "Those two look familiar,
Bullwinkle."

Through the first 11 games, I'm also a bit uneasy because it's clear that the team could have
more points and be in a better position in the standings than they do and are, but let's take a
