Luca to Link Up With Zola – According to Toni's agent.
Gianfranco Zola's search for a new striker was boosted today with the comments made by agent of
Bayern Munich and Italian forward Luca Toni. Zola has been in market for a new striker since the
departures of both David Di Michele, who returned to Torino after his loan spell came to an end and
Diego Tristan who left on a free transfer to sign for Cadiz of the Spanish Segunda Division.
Arsenal have apparently turned down Birmingham's bid to bring in Armand Traore on loan until the
end of the season. For now. According to Alex McLeish, Wenger has said he won't make a decision on
Traore until the end of the transfer window in August. I have to think that this may have something
to do with Nasri's injury and Rosicky's set-back, which leaves us very thin on the left wing.
