Benni Mc Carthy Takes a Shot Against Jamaica
Maybe the "weakened" Jamaica was a better opponent for South Africa, because Bafana Bafana
managed to play forward although they were held to a goalless draw at Vodacom Stadium on
Tuesday.
That means the 2010 World Cup hosts have now scored just six goals in their last 12

Carlos Alberto Parreira
The recent re-appointment of Carlos Alberto Parreira as coach of South Africa, replacing fellow
Brazilian Joel Santana who had been hired on Parreira's recommendation, ignited that perennial

Charlize Theron
I'm a huge fan of Charlize Theron so was delighted to learn that she's a celeb who gives back.
As a native of South Africa, it makes sense that her charitable efforts focus on the youth of her
struggling but extraordinary country.
The Charlize Theron African Outreach Project and the LAFC Chelsea Soccer Club have joined forces
to give kids living in underserved communities – in Southern California and Umkhanyakude District
of the KwaZulu-Natal Province in South Africa – more opportunities to play competitive
soccer.
