Côte d'Ivoire and Chelsea striker Didier Drogba threw a star-studded charity bash at The Dorchester Hotel on Saturday evening and Footy Factor was their to capture all the action. With proceeds from the black-tie event going towards the Didier Drogba Foundation and it's goal to build a hospital for children in Abidjan, Drogba's place of birth, famous friends descended on Park Lane eager to flash some cash.

Arsene Wenger will turn his attention to Chelsea's Solomon Kalou after having his £5M bid for Bordeaux's, Chamakh turned down. The French club was holding out for at least £10M for the striker, however Arsene refuses to pay over the odds, and so he should.

Well, the hot rumor of the day is that Arsenal has made a bid to Chelsea for Solomon Kalou. Apparently Arsenal are offering £6 million, while Chelsea are holding out for £8 million.

I have to say, I've never been all that impressed with Kalou, but he's still young, he grew up idolizing Thierry Henry, and he's basically a spare part at this point with Chelsea.
