Blackpool's reward for a scintillating 3-0 demolition of Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough is
a trip to Everton in the FA Cup fifth round.
The game was effectively won in the opening 15 minutes as Matt Phillips continued his red-hot
scoring streak with a precise finish and Lomana LuaLua curled in a superb effort soon after.
Little used of late Defoe gets the solo goal in this less than inspiring performance (but puts
Spurs just 3 back of 2nd place Man U).Video: Fox Sports

United played more like the United we know and love at Loftus Road on Sunday, the champions ran out
2-0 winners and deservedly so. Wayne Rooney opened the scoring with an early headed goal from an
Atonio Valencia cross from the right. Michael Carrick sealed the victory with an all too rare solo
goal in the second-half following a 50 yard run at the Rangers defence.
Manchester United and Arsenal, from 1997 to 2005, undoubtedly engaged in the era-defining
rivalry in English football. In order to be classified as a great sporting rivalry the protagonists
must move beyond the feudalistic; the edge and the aggro, and be ultimately characterised by
supreme competition and a bountiful supply of dramatic and heart-stopping moments.

• Johnson dedicates goal to Brad Jones's son • Victory at Chelsea was 'probably best I've
felt' Glen Johnson has admitted that Liverpool must replicate their superb away form at Anfield if
they are not to throw away the chance of breaking back into the Premier League top four this
season.

Craig Bellamy showed Liverpool FC fans what they're missing with a superb solo goal against Norway
earlier today.
Bellamy, who is being kept out of the Liverpool team by the continually ineffective Stewart
Downing, picked up the ball in his own half and ran almost the full length of the field before
curling the ball into the top left corner.
Starting from this week, I will embed only few videos of my picks, and post links to other great
goals. First, to allow the page to load faster, second, to give more focus to the best goals:
I have three videos to embed: the first is from Egypt. The goal was wonderful, but it becomes to
special when you know it was scored in the 95th minute, with one second left to the 5 minutes given
of injury time, to give his team a 1-0 victory.
I found recently some very interesting videos for Pele, and they contain mostly not that famous
goals. So, if you seen so much for Pele, all the famous WC goals, Santos Intercontinental Cup and
the so much popular videos, and you still want to see more for Pele, you would like those
clips.
What I like about these clips that in many parts you don't only see goals, but extended video of
the game.
Well, with a weekend like that I don't really know where to start. Perhaps I should just take
the first game then, which was of the utmost importance for the gold race. It was on Thursday and
played in Gothenburg between IFK Göteborg and AIK. Until the last two rounds, AIK had been
steadily making their way to the top and chasing Elfsborg and leaders Helsingborg.

Nepalese team routed Srilankan team 6-0 in their 2nd match of 1st SAFF under-16 Championship
football tournament at Dasharath Stadium, Kathmandu.
Nepalese U16 team went to attack straight from the start against the minnow Srilanka U16 team.
Got recent picks of three wonderful solo goals, plus two other very interesting goals worth
watching:
Leonardo from RB Salzburg scored a wonderful solo goal vs. FK Senica. Honestly, I know non of them,
but the goal is very nice to watch
Another great solo by the Brazilian Fernandinho who plays for Shakhtar
One more wonderful solo by Brad Rusin, and American defender who plays for a Danish Club (HB
Køge)
Very nice goal from Paraguay by Dos Santos, definitely, not the famous one, but a very skillful
goal
Finally, Ronaldinho scored a 'foxy' goal that reminds us so much by the 1990 Roger Milla goal vs.
On the morning of May 9th, 2011 U.S. Soccer released the roster for this year's 2011 FIFA
Women's World Cup team in Germany. Who knew that a team so many "sports journalists" felt was in
disarray, could seemingly overnight turn things around. Odd that this collection of young women
transformed into a team that those same "experts" said they, "Never doubted them for a second.

As you may have gathered, there's not really an awful lot going on today save Kun's imminent
move to City, so we're hoping that this round-up of decent goals from various friendly games around
the world will go someway to filling your daily quota of football goodness.
Rafael gives Manchester United a 2-1 lead with a suberb solo goal finished from
an almost impossible angle.
An amazing Xherdan Shaqiri solo goal ensured Switzerland got off to the best
possible start to their European u-21 Championship Finals beating host nations Denmark 1-0.
I have been travelling for a while this week, so this is a quick post with best goals for previous
week. In few days I will be back to normal posting,
I start from the U-17 national team for Spain and a wonderful solo goal
Another wonderful solo from Brazil
We are still in Brazil but with a different type of goal, a stunning one
Still a Brazilian player, but this time in UAE league
And another goal from the same league, also by a Brazilian player
Finally, Juan Riquelme with a wonderful (typical Juan) free kick
Luis Suarez has handed Liverpool a lift by revealing his injury is not as serious as had been
feared.
The Uruguayan produced a starring display in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Sunderland last weekend,
scoring a brilliant solo goal to seal victory. He was substituted after scoring his goal and left
the field seemingly nursing a groin problem.

U.S. WNT ARRIVES EARLY IN PORTUGAL FOR 11 DAYS OF TRAINING BEFORE ALGARVE CUP: The
U.S. Women's National Team has arrived on the southern coast of Portugal to prepare for its second
international tournament of 2011.
Having bid for half of La Liga during the January window and ended up with no one, it will be
interesting to see which striker we go for in the summer.
With potential targets such as Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez now off the market, here's some
forwards that Harry could be targeting at the end of the season.
A hard fought game against the Wolves that ended at 4 -3 in favour of City.Tevez got a standing
ovation.A brilliant solo goal and a headed goal were his contributions to the scoreline.
Ever since the start of this 2010/2011 season, I have been in awe of Spurs' quicksilver winger,
Gareth Bale. Gareth Bale has been the leading light for Tottenham Hotspurs this season. It has been
breathtaking watching the young Welsh wizard in full flight up to this point in the season. Those
who were enjoying the holiday matches (or what was left of it) would have seen Bale at his best.
