The day after U.S. soccer fans celebrated the women's CONCACAF win and their Olympic
qualification comes word that the WPS is on ice for the 2012 season.
Word began to filter out via players and bloggers on social networks like Twitter Monday
morning, and the league officially made the announcement midday.
You may remember the Joe Jordan facts on this site after the Gatusso San Siro incident, well since
his arrival at Spurs and subsequent beastly performances for us, #scottparkerfacts has popped up on
various social networks. The best are listed below:
If Scott Parker was in 300, it would have just been called 1.

Oliver Holt: Why trial-by-YouTube will not help debate on racism
The accusations are spreading like a plague. Like a new strain of an old virus raging through
the game in the space of a Âfortnight. First, it was Manchester United's Patrice Evra alleging
that Luis Suarez of Liverpool had racially abused him during the teams' meeting at Anfield on
October 15.
A strong feature of the early part of Tottenham's season has been the use of various youngsters in
our non-Premier League campaigns. Anyone who was at Hearts away and Shamrock Rovers at home would
have been impressed by Andros Townsend's electrifying contributions. Harry Kane might have missed a
penalty in that 0-0 bore-fest against Hearts at the Lane but his general performance in that game
and away against PAOK Salonika demonstrated that he might be able to make something of his career
at Spurs.

he transfer of Cesc Fabregas to FC Barcelona is all done pending an official email from Arsenal
confirming the transaction. The problem is that with all the excitement by Barcelona fans and team
personnel Arsenal got angry and is delaying their response.
Wil at the least increased the squad's average height
The business side of things started early for Arsenal this transfer window. Arsenal have
announced that we've signed Carl Jenkinson from Charlton Atlectic. The 19 year old plays
predominantly as a right back but can also double up as a left back or a centre back.
This is the first in what I hope will be a series of guest articles. First up is Rob Handworker.
Rob is in his mid 30′s, says Glenn Hoddle is the best player he's seen at The Lane and won his
child's team loyalties thanks to Woody's head. This is Rob's first venture into Spurs blogging.
I work in social media, but when I'm hyper-focused on my job I barely tend to my personal
accounts. During these periods, my Facebook wall goes stale, blog traffic falls and Twitter replies
die off.
Not surprisingly, when I update my social networks, they come right back to life.

Last Friday, during a MLS match between the Seattle Sounders and Colorado Rapids, Sounders'
midfielder Steve Zakuani's tibia, fibula and other body parts ending in "a" fell victim to an
ill-timed tackle from the Rapids' Brian Mullan (as seen above around 0:20).
I've often criticised clubs in Indonesia for their failure to embrace the internet. Fan sites have
been around for yonks and they are now getting to be of a good quality, step forward the likes of
Ongisnade, Simamaung and Pusam, but clubs are proving to be right old stick in the muds over it, I
guess feeling they have no one to give the job to.
I've decided to modify the existing policy on comments. Effective immediately, commenters will no
longer be required to authenticate themselves using Typepad, Facebook, or other social networks.
Instead, those who choose not to authenticate will be asked to enter an alphanumeric code before
their comment is accepted.
I have made the decision to begin offering full excerpts of my electronic report,
Sports In

to send me a message via Linkedin, Facebook or Twitter!
When I embarked upon my dream to become a professional soccer player, I knew that my journey would
