Hello and welcome to the New England Revolution vs. Columbus Crew live game thread! This is the
third and final installment in the 2012 series between the two teams, a series which the Crew
currently lead with a 1-0-1 record. The Revs carry a slight advantage as they will be the home
team, but their last home encounter against Columbus ended in a 0-0 draw, so nothing is
guaranteed.

Greetings everyone and welcome to the New England Revolution vs. Philadelphia Union live thread
for the teams' second meeting of the season! The Revs are hoping this will be the day they break
their nine-match winless streak, and also a five-game all-time winless streak against the Union
specifically.

Hey there and welcome to the New England Revolution vs. Chivas USA live game thread! Let's get
down to the nitty gritty here: this is a match that even the struggling Revolution should win.
Chivas can't score - like, literally can't buy a bucket - and in the last three games
they've conceded a whopping eleven goals.

It's game time again, and this time the New England Revolution have traveled to Ohio to take on
the Columbus Crew. A win here would snap a seven game winless run and a four-match losing streak,
but history is not on the side of the Revs; since 1996, New England's away record against the Crew
is any abysmal 6-15-6.

A blog post came out today on The Drug is Football with an anonymous e-mail from someone who
claimed to work at the Kraft Sports Group sharing supposed office stories that the New England
Revolution's owner Bob Kraft could possibly sell or move the team in the coming seasons because it
was under-performing and hurting his reputation.

Settle in on your couches, crack open a frosty drink, grab the chips,
and get ready for what promises to be a really, really long night for the New England Revolution as
they take on the Chicago Fire at Toyota Park this evening. The Revs have never won in Bridgeview
during the regular season, and given the way the team has been playing - especially on the road -
they don't look to likely to turn that little streak around right now.

David vs. Goliath. The Battle of Thermopylae. The Spanish Armada of 1588. The Thrilla In Manila.
These were all contests featuring a heavily-panned underdog, battles fought in conditions that
tended to favor one side over the other. For decades now, the United States national team has been
fighting battles like that.

It's midsummer, and you know what that means: MLS All-Star season! This year the best (or most
famous, depending on your viewpoint) in MLS are all set to take on European champions Chelsea FC.
It isn't the first time that Chelsea has clashed with league XI on these shores; the 2006 All-Star
game was a match-up between the two sides that ended in a 1-0 victory for MLS.

The race for the playoff spots continues to heat up in Major League Soccer today, with a handful
of key match-ups headlining today's league action.
D.C. United has traveled to Canada, and will take on the Montreal Impact in a clash of teams
vying for fifth place in the East, and the playoff berth that goes with it.
There was soccer today at HASP! And the Dynamo won!
Hey, after last Friday, we could all use a pick me up. Unfortunately, I wasn't at the game, so
I'll have to offer up the official match report as evidence of the Dynamo 2-0 Reserve League
victory over Sporting Kansas City. Cam Weaver continued to annihilate the Reserve League with a
brace as the Dynamo moved in to a tie with the Rapids atop the Central/Mountain Division.
