Besiktas willbe looking for revenge in Kiev on Thursday's Europa League Group E clash against Dynamo Kiev.
Besiktas met Dynamo Kiev in the last 32 of last season's competition, and found themselves comprehensively beaten as they suffered an 8-1 aggregate defeat.
Besiktas currently sit above Dynamo in the standings after beating Maccabi Tel Aviv but suffering a defeat against Stoke.

Turkish Football Federation web site(www.tff.org) made a huge error yesterday, announcing Turkey as a top seeded team in the play-offs!
Well that was not truth and it was bogus news from TFF!

I was able to get a tour of EA Sports in Vancouver, Canada where the FIFA series was developed. Stoke City came from behind to defeat Besiktas 2-1 thanks to Jon Walters' penalty in Thursday's Europa League clash at the Britannia Stadium.
Besiktas scored first but one minte later Stoke tied the match...
Besiktas went ahead in the 14th minute when Roberto Hilbert scored on to Ricardo Quaresma's pass, but their lead lasted only a couple minutes, goalkeeper Rustu Recber unable to claim Dean Whitehead's corner and Peter Crouch scored the goal for Stoke City.

If you want to waste time and frustrate yourself, start a conversation/debate about soccer-football positions, what you call them, what that means, and what that implies about their roles.

The fixtures for the 2011/2012 season in Turkish Spor Toto Super League have been announced in Istanbul on Thursday.
First Istanbul derby of the year will be played between Besiktas and Fenerbahce in Week-8. Besiktas will host another Istanbul side Galatasaray in a Week -11 game.

European soccer's governing body decided on Wednesday to replace Turkish champions Fenerbahce with league runners-up Trabzonspor in the Champions League group stage draw.
The UEFA Emergency Panel, composed of the UEFA president and four members of the UEFA Executive Committee, met Wednesday following the decision of the Turkish Football Federation to withdraw Fenerbahce from the 2011-12 UEFA Champions League due to the fact that the club has been involved in alleged match-fixing, a statement on UEFA's website read.

Turkish champion Fenerbahce has been removed from the Champions League because of an ongoing match-fixing investigation.
Turkey's Football Federation says it has withdrawn Fenerbahce after meetings on Wednesday.
Fenerbahce's removal comes 24 hours before it was to take its place among 32 elite European clubs in the group stage draw being conducted in Monaco.
